Wright said ‘god damn America’ and, (this is important) IN THE CONTEXT IN WHICH IT WAS SAID AND MEANT, I agree with him. Read it yourself and tell me you disagree. FYI, Rev. Wright was a US Marine and a Naval officer during the Vietnam War. The same war Nugent deliberately avoided by dodging the draft. So you would rather be related to an admitted draft dodger than a sitting president like Obama? That says a lot about you………

Members of my family also fought in that war. They won the battle of Horseshoe Bend for Jackson. Who defied the Supreme Court by removing thousands of Indians to Oklahoma including members of my family. That killed one fourth of the Cherokee nation and similar numbers from other tribes. I have a few disreputable relatives myself, I don’t brag about them.

Now that you mention it, Jackson and Obama do have a few things in common. Both demonstrated a distain for the Supreme Court. Both arranged government contracts for their friends. Both sought to assume more power than the office is allowed.
I’m no big fan of Ted Nugent but I’d rather be a close relative of Nugent’s than to have my name remotely associated with Jackson or Obama.
