Yes i know it is agents the bible for.christians that same-sex marradges are not allowed. but, in my opition it should be allowed in every state. being gay/lesbian/bisexual isnt somthing you.just say to your self one day “hey i think today n gunna be gay……then tomorow im going back to being stright” its just somthing that happends and youu cant control what you like. i just dont get how so many people are so agenst it…. if someone is in love weather if its a boy or a girl it shouldnt matter because there happy…. im bisexual and im married to my loving wife for almost 3 years but we had to go to a diffent state because were we lived it wasnt allowed so alot of are family member and friends werent able to go to are special event witch was upseting…..so if all states did allow same-sex marradges id be alot happier and so would some of are friends and fasmily :)

ROSE: Actually we are losing Christian rights fast. O & Hillary already said that our God should only be spoken of inside our church and homes, not in public. Making it law is just a matter of a short time. Military pastors are no longer aloud to utter the name of Jesus, only God because most people worship God. The real one and the tons of fakes they made up.

Passed every law on his own that has us all set for Hilter but worse, watch after election. You may not believe in the Bible, but the book of Revelation speaks of all this. Healthcare plan, by 3/23/13 we must all be implanted. Military & police will all report to the UN & training now to barge in take guns & us. One world gov is here. If you look all this up & listen, you’ll know proof positive. Knowdlege is power, we have one hell of a fight facing us. Now I know the US isn’t anything to be proud of but our troops are. O is a puppet of the rich elete, UN & Britian. No, I’m not crazy, I’m informed. Everyone has seen this crap creeping into our court systems, schools & police in large cities already acting the part, no rules. Citizen attacked my muslims on tape, judge rules in favor of muslims cause it had to do w/their beliefs. God help us.

Why is it that when someone opposes Gay marriages that the Gay community calls the person ignorant and judgemental? Christians have a right to speak out AGAINST gay marriages just as gay people use their rights to support it. Personally, I don’t believe any Christian who believes in Christ can happily stand in support of Gay marriages. It is an abomination in the Christian faith. Obama has -really lost my vote. You can’t be wishy-washy as a president and just because something is popular–like same sex marriages–doesn’t mean it’s right. Gay community, I’m tired of you all talking about gay rights are akin to civil rights. It’s not. It’s wrong. and I am not going to hell for saying so. I stand by the Bible 100%. Shame on you President Obama. You have disgraced Christianity today. Please change your religion while you are “evolving” in your views.

To everyone claiming that Obama is flip-flopping his views to gain votes, the swing states that Obama is trying to get are generally NOT in favor of gay marriage. This is harmful to his campaign, but I am glad he is now in favor of it. At least not everyone in the US is living in the 19th century.
If you don’t approve of same-sex marriage, don’t get married to the same sex.
Please don’t claim that gay marriage will destroy the sanctity of marriage itself; 50% of married couples get divorced and 25% of children are raised by single parents.
Civil Union is like segregation, separate but…equal? You know that’s not really the case.

This is the third time Obama has changed his marriage position since 1996. In case you haven’t noticed; every statement Obama makes has an expiration date to use when he’s finished using a group or his base.

i agree with a lot of people and i think hes coming forth with this “news” because of his reelection. however i do admire his views on it. and i admire the fact that he actually listens and takes to heart what his family and his daughters say even if they are still young. i dont think he should leave the decision up to the states to decide. this is a matter of whats right and whats wrong and non equality based on sexual orientation is just stupid and wrong. I wish obama would put these people in their place and make a federal law allowing gay marriage. maybe we can hope he will do something about it after reelection since then he wont have to worry about getting his fellow politicians to vote in favor of him just to be president for another 4 years. i think obama has done a decent job so far. its a tough job being the president and its hard trying to please everyone while still having yourself and your own family to worry about. but congrats obama for realizing that equality is what matters

I applaud any public figure who comes out and supports what is right. President Obama was right to come out in support of gay marriage. I saw footage of George Wallace facing down the National Guard when a black student was entering the university. That was 50 or so years ago. I think the controversy over same-sex marriage will look as quaint in a few years. Meanwhile, we have to honor the Constitution of the US which states that we are all entitled to the same rights and protection under it. It’s time for bigotry based on religious beliefs, or just plain ignorance to end. I am not gay, but the President’s support goes way beyond the gay community.
