look at the difference when bush went into office he had a surplus handed to him by clinton but all the republican would say that reagan created that and no thanks to clinton but it was reagan that caused that and that’s not true cause bush senior was the prez so that arguement is wrong now that bush jounior almost bankrupted the country with 8 years of tax cuts for the rich 2 wars and part d added to medicare that was not paid for and now that obama has been in office for almost 4 years and every thing is his fault you can’t do what has been done in 4 yrs and forget about the 8 yrs before i don’t agree with all that the prez does but you have to give him credit he has done more in almost 4 yrs for the country than bush did in 8 yrs

Seeing the Bush family again raised my spirits. They are lovely, gracious and good-humored. Pres. Obama did mention his “inheritance” again (as if for some reason he feels entitled to have “inherited” better) and what day can go by without a reminder that he killed bin Laden? But otherwise he behaved better than I thought he would. He even extolled the virtues of a traditional and peaceful transition of power. Whether he meant that or not is of course hard to tell. I guess we’ll have to wait and see… 160 days from today… on Nov. 7th. (But who’s counting?)
