What’s going on with the Republicans and Poland? First Romney brings up talking to the Polish president during the debate, which seemed totally random, then this. It’s a little weird to hear from Poland twice in 3 days.

why is it that everything the president say or do it has to be sinsationalized…….. he is human people and he is alot better than the last 8 who sat in the white seat before him.. Bush and cheney should have been impeached for lying to America about the WMD’s placing our soldiers in harms way for a personal vendetta.. now im not saying that something shouldnt have been done but Sadam didnt bomb the towers ….. what i really think it boils down to is the color of his skin for real… we honor everybody in this country except the ethnicity on who backs this country was build…. Yes i am African and im proud to say it but i am ashamed at this point bc we havent eveolved as a nation when it comes to real issues like racism, equality and opportunity….. give the President a break…

I want to add something. Very unfair is that this woman said that Poland surrendered without a fight in II world war. For sure, she didn’t read any historical book in her life or even a small article about Polish history or even a second world war: September 1, 1939 – beginning of the war, the West does nothing, waiting for the Germans occupy Poland and can not attack their borders; 1 August – 3 October 1944 – The Warsaw Uprising; Polish underground, partisans – all the time during the war; Battle of Britain – Polish airmen (303 Squadron); breaking the Enigma cipher – Polish mathematicians; many Poles has entered to concentration camps to be able to find out how to break their strength from the inside; Polish families to help Jewish – thousands! There are many other evidence. She also should know one thing. Poland disappeared from the map of Europe for 123 years. It came back in 1918 – after first world war. If it didn’t destroy our strength, her article will not, for sure. One question, does she have any connections with Illuminati?

Debbie Schlussel – this is a Polish enemy. That woman should be in prison for such scandalous articles about “Polish extermination camps”. This woman doesn’t know anything about the history and Polish sacrifice in saving Jewish families – in my mum’s village there were killed by German soldiers 11-people family who helped Jewish family. You can imagine how small is her knowledge. There are many examples. She knows only about one or two people who collaborated with Germans and she thinks that she has a right to insult whole our nation?! She looks like anti-Polish racist and she shouldn’t demand political correctness in reaction! I am a Polish citizen and I live in my country since I was born. I have many friends with different color of the skin and religion. Debbie, pleace, don’t call me antisemite because I want to put you a case in court. I will win, for sure.

As stated above there was no Poland when the death camps were active..I am not going into Wartheland and the General Government, history, but Poles and Poland had nothing to do with those camps and Obama was an idiot even to bring up the term. To go bananas on Obama is ridiculous, but the Polish people are doing just that. Obama’s refusal to apologize for his slur is even more telling. Of course, after tomorrow’s crappy jobless report Obama’s spinmeisters will have another topic to try to explain away.

It’s amazing how little people know about the history of WWII. In 1939 the Nazis & the Soviet Union carved up Poland. The Poles were treated horribly by both. Eventually Hitler then invaded the Soviet Union. The Nazis were most vicious with the Jews but the Poles themselves did not fare too well. A generation ago it was common knowledge that the death camps in Poland were the work of the Nazis and to call them “Polish Death Camps” did not infer that it was the Poles who were the culprits. Today many people do not know the history of WWII and it makes sense not to call them “Polish Death Camps” since the ignorant will think that the Poles were the culprits. I guess Obama should of realized this. To go bananas on Obama is ridiculous.
