The drones are the tactical spearhead of a strategy that will keep the USA from continually weakening the country by foolishly getting ourselves into decade-long wars where we don’t profit from territorial gain. One of al-Qaeda’s stated goals was to keep the USA in these resourse-draining actions. In ancient times, Rome didn’t fight long campaigns in barbarian areas from which raiders attacked the empire – they sent a few legions in to quickly burn down a bunch of towns to let them know there were consequences. These countries like Pakistan and Yemen are NOT pro-American to start with: who cares if it bothers them. They are allowing those who do us wrong to live among them so we’ll strike them. And MUCH cheaper than sending in troops.

On November 17, 2008, US and Iraqi officials signed a Security Agreement, often referred to as a Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA), stating that “All the United States Forces shall withdraw from all Iraqi territory no later than December 31, 2011.”

George Bush was President when this was signed.

If Obama is going to take credit for killing OBL, then he must also take the blame for not protecting the Pakistani doctor who was keyu to finding OBL’s home.

He also needs to take the blame for the the 22 Navy SEALS that were killed not long after OBL. Most Navy SEALS killed at one time EVER.
