		<description>Isn&#039;t this all amusing.  Obama gets to evolve on issues, he gets to flip and flop and then flip agian.  He was for same sex marriage, then he was agianst it, now he is for it agian.  The media praised him for &quot;evolving&quot;.

Ok.  So then why can&#039;t Romney &quot;evolve&quot; on RomneyCare?  Why can&#039;t he be for it then agianst it?  Why isn&#039;t the media praising him for &quot;evolving&quot;.

Simple.  He is not a Democrat and he is not Obama.  So the media allows Obama to &quot;evolve&quot;, but they will never allow that same privilage for Romney.

In the United States however &quot;Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof&quot;. Laws restricting marriage to the view of one type of religion are patently unconstitutional because it is prohibiting the free exercise of lots of people&#039;s religious beliefs.

Even worse, governments and private organizations give specific rights to married couples that they don&#039;t give to unmarried couples. Restricting marriages to heterosexual couples is again patently unconstitutional under the 14th Amendment because it violates equal protection.

&quot;No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.&quot;

It is obvious that the time has come to end interference of government in the institution of marriage and extend the First Liberty (freedom of religion) to cover the institution of marriage. It is likewise imperative that the great tradition of this nation that All People are Equal Under the Law be recognized in allowing any two adults to form a union that gives them the same rights as others.

Romney is being a jerk about this. In the past he&#039;s been in favor of these views, the only reason he is stating otherwise now is hypocrisy based on his need to appeal to a certain constituency.</description>

I am conservative, christian and could care less whether gays want to get married (not my place to judge anyway). Polygamy on the other hand, it could be argued was the first form of human marriage. The alpha male and the females under his protection.
