I’m afraid the short-memoried public have already forgotten that it was Obama, who kept this country from ‘going-over-the-waterfall’ and falling into-the-abyss almost 4 years ago. It’s scary how quickly we forget. It’s scary how just a few years away from George Bush, we’ve already forgotten what it was like under his rule, and what he did to this great country of ours. I fear that it is going to take 4 more years under another Republican President for us to get a ‘stern and SOBERING-reminder’ of where the Republicans left us after eight years of George Bush. Perhaps we need to take a few steps ‘backward-toward-the-brink’ for us to finally realize how much better we were under Obama than we were under Bush. I am fairly certain that when this country finally learns a hard-lesson that Mitt Romney was NOT the ‘smoke-and-mirrors’ cure to this country’s ‘ills’ (as more and more people seem to be currently believing), that Obama will be completely vindicated and his tenure will eventually be viewed and recorded in the history books, as one of the most positive ones of the last 100 years or so. It’s going to be a TOUGH lesson for Obama’s current detractors, and the middle-class are going to suffer in a major way, because of it, if Romney wins, but it is a lesson that will, unfortunately, be necessary in order to steer our country back to where it was before George Bush got a hold of it. We need to be ‘de-GOP-ed’, and electing Romney is NOT the way to go about it.

“The GOP have no plan other than using a war” this is the codepink message for the economy. What kind of war was Romney waging when he developed his personal businesses? Obviously this is too difficult for the “occupy” movement wasting time in parks and creating jobs for cleaning services.

You republicans keep arguing about the debt and deficit. “Nero fiddled while Rome burned” applies.

We need jobs period, the more people working, the lower the deficit, the more the middle class can spend the more demand, more hiring. It’s not rocket science

The big 0′s poll numbers are falling everywhere amongst all demographics as well as around the world, except he does have a man singing a song of love, praise, and worship to him on a video, so he has that going for him.

The polling shows that too many are uneducated about how the economy works and too many aren’t aware of the economic troubles from our banking melt-down that is still affecting the world’s economy.
Romney’s policies are essentially the same as Bush’s and we know that way not only doesn’t work but leads to economic melt-down.
President Obama’s policies are about sustainable growth. We can all do our part by buying American-made goods and food whenever possible. Only when sales are good will companies expand their workforce.

I know what it is from the press, ‘The rich get a break’ but if you actually BOTHER to look through the plan you will see that it actually is a road way to produce more within the United States, cut trade deficits, etc. I think the problem is people get their economic news from the news and not the candidates.”—Exactly. Until the mentally challenged politicians recognize that foreign wars that bring nothing of value to our country are the cause of our economic problems, the problems will only get worse. bush’s policies caused the recession, but Obama has had ample time to correct the situation had he not chose instead to redistribute the wealth of the nation through an ill-conceived national healthcare plan. and to bail out businesses that should have been left to fail.
