The democrats put spending cuts on the table, where are the republicans?

The fact is they are running a scam. They could give a damn about jobs. Their whole agenda is to stop any progress on the economy in hopes it will defeat the President.

You and I both know the President and the democratic leaders have said repeatedly that they would embrace some spending cuts. They also believe we need to look at the revenue side. The republican loyalties are with Grover Norquist, who they have signed an undying pledge not to consider revenues.

You can’t go around signing pledges to people like Norquist, who was never elected to anything, and say you can compromise. If you do it’s a false statement and pure BS

Timbo, the Tea Party is a response to the rise of the liberal progressives who will not compromise and enact necessary spending cuts as they drive to the cliff of Big Government Canyon full speed ahead.

I agree that our government was founded on the ability of the different parties to come together and compromise for the good of our country. I think the President has shown a great willingness to compromise. When he is attacked with innuendos and untruths it’s impossible not to say something in return. These accusations (birther, Muslim, etc) are based on hate, not facts. Evil thrives when good men say nothing.

There was a time when democrats and republicans could disagree agreeably, but with the rise of the radical conservative tea party those days are over.

The people in Utah already had gotten rid of the corrupt Olympic officials and were getting that mess straightened out long before PIA Romney arrived. All he did was talk the Bush administration into giving them 37, 000, 000 dollars (no hard task) that they didn’t need.
