Unfortunately, wishful thinking and a positive “we’re gonna beat ‘em” attitude does not mean Romney will win. Obama has large blocks of voters already in the bag – women, youth, gays, immigrants, Dems, etc. Romney doesn’t stand a chance. Once again, the Republicans have failed to nominate a candidate who can beat his opponent.

To LogicSound: You are certainly entitled to your opinon, but listen closely to what “Grandpa” is saying…status quo, no changes in taxes, especially for the wealthy. If taxes on the wealthy are increased NOW, grandson’s generation will not have to ‘bear the burden….’ If Grandpa and his cronies would stop buying and shutting down US companies and laying off people by the thousands, the next generations’ burdens would be less costly. If the top 5% of this country earning the vast majority of the country’s income would realize that there must be changes in the country’s income structure for it to be successful over the long term, our children’s generation could be assured of prosperity.

What a fun article! Though I’m a democrat and plan to vote for Obama, it’s nice to see the interaction between Romney and his grandchildren! It brought a smile to my face when Parker asked his question. 18 grandkids is about right for a Mormon family, but my Mormon in-laws have Romney beat: 20 grandkids so far!

Happy belated Father’s day to all the dads and grand-dads out there! : )
