NEWCOUNTRYMAN….your 8:19 post….exactly spot on. Many, many middle class people who just ‘voted against themselves’. Who allowed ‘outside corporate money’ to lead them to ‘inner class warfare’ that will keep their economy in that State from growing. Austerity DOESN’T work alone. Yopu need revenue increases. And that WON’T HAPPEN under a draconian plan like Walker’s. Read Thomas Frank. He explainsthe concept of ‘backlash voting’ very well in two of his books. But the one common denominator it takes? An uneducated voter base. And the GOP really knows how to ‘mine’ that type of voter.

I wonder if the words “honesty” and “hypocrisy” will be used to determine who to vote for in this race? If so, Elizabeth Warren will be soundly defeated. For years, she has pretended to be a “woman of color” and she has personally profited from flipping foreclosed homes at the expense of the “hammered middle-class” she so falsely defends. Will MA accept being represented by a person of such questionable and dubious character?

Well…let me just say this. If you ‘truly’ are a ‘center – left’ person in Massachusettes and you don’t fully understand the difference in GOP ideol;ogy versus the Democratic ideology. If you don’t understand what and who each Party stands for. Then you aren’t really center – left. Because by that definition you should be better educated – and would never vote Republican, especially since Grover Norquist and the far extreme right….have got that Party by the throat. And if you don’t know that, then you haven’t been paying attention to the ‘antics’ that have gone on in the “Grand Old Party”….over the past decade.
