I-502 is not legalization. Cannabis will remain a Schedule I drug on both the state and federal Controlled substances acts. All that will be left is the DUI clause, which science has shown to be invalid for establishing impairment.

Peter Lewis, the major contributor, owns Progressive Insurance, which is the exclusive provider for high-risk insurance in the state. Follow the money.

Many disabled cannabis patients will no longer be legal to drive, and will become homebound. Their health will fail, as happens with the homebound, and there is an associated mortality rate with being homebound. How many lives are worth it to you?

Homebound patients have exponentially higher medical costs than the independent patient who is chronically ill. What is the gain from removing the driving privileges from people who have been titrated on their meds and tolerate them with no impairment?

I-502 harms cannabis patients by removing their legal driving privileges. There is no funding for the needs out there now. There is none earmarked in 502 to address this issue. This is a social disaster. Please vote NO!

Sorry about the double post. I did not see the first post and tried again.
How can President Obama perpetuate this Obamination (pun intended) on our young people and minorities.
We all know that Reefer is the least problematical of all the habits, including sugar.
Stand up for your Constitutional rights and do SOMETHING, anything, to erase this War on Drugs (War on the American people by special interests)
"Legalizing marijuana is the single biggest change that can be made to bring respect back to the law. But people in power could care less about respect when there is money to be made on a viable tool for the suppression of undesirables."

I keep seeing MJ reefered to (pun intended) as a "Drug".
Reefer is not a drug. It is a plant, substance, medicine, and social barrier remover.
It has never killed anyone or given anyone cancer.

MJ is NOT addictive.
Reefer is about as addictive as sex, wine, cake, and applause.
Stop posting those tired, old arguments.
Without this farce of a War, these people will be out of work:
People who want to keep MJ illegal are:
The cartels
The Medicinal MJ community
Drug dealers
Tobacco interests
Alcohol industry
Big Pharma industry
Plastics and synthetics fiber industry (Dupont)
Law enforcement = Cops, Bail bondsmen, Lawyers, Judges, Court staff, Prison personnel, Parole and Probation officers, Rehab centers.

The woman in the video has an addiction problem. This is not helpful if you are trying to convince the public to look positively at marijuana use.

The libertarian in me says legalize it and tax it. The pragmatist asks why is alcohol legal and pot not? But I know the answer is money and lobbyists. The issue is one of political hypocrisy, and nada mas!
