All I see are a bunch of racist spilling hate. Why do you people assume that all illegals are murderers? Why do they assume that they are all here to commit crimes?? The fact is almost all of them are nothing more than the embodiment of the true American spirit. They are here to WORK hard and provide a better future for their families. Some of you so called "citizens" may have been born here but you have forgotten what being an American is. You shun your neigboor for being sick and not being able to afford health insurance, you shun the less fortunate, you pick and choose the history that made this country great. Now you want to shun good hard working people for being different... it's just sad. I'm glad the Supreme court ruled the way it did. Next up Health care doesn't the GOP get tired of being wrong?

Congratulations Arizona and Governor Brewer!! I agree with the above poster keep a log of all the immigrants that are turned over to ICE, see if they are deported then make that public information to show which POTUS won't follow the laws on the books and deport those that are here ILLEGALLY!!! I really feel sorry for the people who want to come here and are doing the right thing, following the rules and getting shafted because others are just sneaking in just because they can.

A nation is built on citizenship. The ideals and promises that America offered through citizenship are being cheapened and basically made defunct. The Federal Govt is saying that citizenship no longer matters ... the pride and ownership that comes with that is being eroded and thus a great nation falls ... you just need study a little history. What is more troubling is that politicians are in effect pandering to foreign nations when courting non-legalized residents in order to sway elections, an act that is considered treason. Voting is a PRIME right of citizenship and when that is affected by non-citizenry, a nation has a major political / social problem. When public hospitals close due to non-citizens overwhelming their resources, citizens have lost value. The whole argument over illegals is ridiculous. There should be no argument ... unless there is a pride and achievement in achieving residency / citizenship, there can be no cohesive national pride. BTW, I am a LEGALLY naturalized citizen and I throughout the process I was shown very little of the considerations illegals are demanding. I had to "prove" things multiple times and no federal agency made any special accommodations. I didn't view it as discrimination as it was part of the process of achieving a worthwhile goal. Try marching as a non-citizen demanding citizenship rights in any other country in the world and see what happens. Ludicrous that this whole debate even exists and shame on our politicians for allowing it and using it as a political (?illegal?) tool.

Yeah Tm because we all know that illegals aren't involved in the drug trade, R?IGHT? Illegals should be deported, have their assets seized to reimburse taxpayers, and should never be given bennies for the anchor brats they have here to do more crimes.

Joe Arpaio is definitely loosing it. He spends all his time trying to deport illegal Hispanics while drug dealing runs rampant. There is also the fact that 300 child molestation cases got lost in his system and were never investigated.

"They can’t specifically pull someone over for looking Hispanic and if the person they pull over has no green card they can’t be arrested for that alone..."

Ah... but that's exactly what Sheriff Joe Arpaio is doing and thus the lawsuit against him by the DOJ. I guess that's why he is feverishly looking for something... anything... to find amiss with the President's birth certificate.

The ruling re-enforced exactly what the federal government has said. States do not have the right to set their own immigration policy. If anyone commits a misdemeanor or felony the police have the right to ask for a drivers license, proof of insurance, a passport, visa or green card. That’s a no brainer.

They can't specifically pull someone over for looking Hispanic and if the person they pull over has no green card they can't be arrested for that alone, they have to be turned over to ICE which is the federal enforcement entity.

If the law emotionally harass any minority group, the GOP would consider it a victory. As usual conservatives are just against anybody who doesn't look like them.

"Less than meets the eye. As of today, Arizona police can check the immigration status of every person reasonably stopped in the course of keeping public order in the state. But what can they do with that information? There’s no state crime on the books any more. States can’t deport people. The feds do that. All the Arizona cops can do is inform federal immigration authorities if they round up an illegal immigrant. And the feds are perfectly free to ignore them."

...and that's it in a nutshell! For Blondie to think that this is some sweeping win for her just shows that she is using too much peroxide.
