I think we leave Israel alone, get out of the middle east and start rebuilding the country we live in. We can’t help anyone if we don’t first help ourselves. That land isn’t even theirs! We can’t pretend like the Palestinians weren’t forced from their homes anymore, we need to recognize that as Americans.

Why in this economy are we providing foreign aid to countries that can economically support themselves? I thought we had a budget crisis?
2007, the Bush Administration and the Israeli government agreed to a 10-year, $30 billion military aid package from $2.55 billion in FY2009 to approximately $3.1 billion for FY2013 through FY2018. For FY2013, the Obama Administration is requesting $3.1 billion in FMF to Israel.

In the second session of the 112th Congress, in addition to the normal foreign operations
appropriations process, lawmakers may address: Administration or Israeli requests for additional defense appropriations for joint U.S.-Israeli missile defense; an extension of U.S. loan guarantees to Israel beyond FY2012 when they are set to expire; a

The Obama Administration’s FY2013 request includes $3.1 billion in Foreign Military Financing for Israel and $15 million for refugee resettlement. Within the U.S. Department of Defense, the U.S. Missile Defense Agency’s FY2013 budget request includes $99.8 million in joint U.S.-Israeli co-development for missile defense.

If only American citizens were friends of the United States Government instead of the folks footing the bill for foreign wars and propping up the world.

BTW we gave over $500 million to Russia in 2010? Our frienemy the former USSR has plenty of natural resources and wealth, why is the American tax payer supporting countries that can support themselves!?!

Isn’t it interesting. Obozo gives $70 million to Israel just as Gov. Romney is going there. Not too much of a coincidence there, huh?

It must be killing Obozo even to give Israel a pittance like $70 million. That’s money he can’t give to the Arabs.

Why now????? Had the Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, enter the WH trough the BACK door, wants Irael to go back to the 1967 borders, thrown the Polish people and Chechoslovacia under the bus, just to please Russia, they are such good allies, by voting against us in the UN every time. But then he told Russia after the next election I have more flexibility.

The Israelis know that no republican administration shows very much support for Israel. The Bush administration ignored Israel for eight years. The republicans are too closely aligned with the Saudis and the other Gulf States that are propped up by the oil industry.

Mitt, Mr. Big Business can’t con them.
