One thing bothers me about this (aside from being a little unsure that someone who has said so many crazy things should be put on a billboard promoting something reasonable), and it's the headline. How screwed up of a culture do we have when the two alternatives are being "pro-pot" and being in favor of asinine prohibition laws. How about "pro-freedom"?

It doesn't matter how you feel about cannabis. I'm strongly anti-crystal-meth and anti-crack, but at the end of the day, it's not my business or the government's business to tell adults what they can do with their own bodies and their own lives. This is the argument we should be having that everyone seems to want to shy away from.

Call pot probation for what it is: Religious Law that has no place on the books in the United States. What someone does to his or her body and mind is between them and God – and not between me, them and God.

pot is benign....everything else is dangerous......therefore everything is dangerous because pot is illegal....pot should be legal, & we should be able to grow it...it's called freedom baby, yeah!....when this happens a positive Paradigm shift will happen. Let's get started & treat everyone nice with respect. F$@#-politics 24/7!.

I saw one of the two interviews they are talking about. People have to remember Pat is 82. The interview I saw it was clear that he didn't understand the question. Sadly I knew what the interviewer wanted him to say, and got him to say it. Basically Pat said that he didn't want someone to think that their soul was in jepordy if they smoked any more than if they had a drink. But I would have liked him to redirect the question to say something like.....Well thats a political question, lets stay on a spiritual topic.

Wait?! Pat Robertson is a deranged and delusional so there is no way he can possibly take such a rational position as decriminalizing marijuana. If by some chance it turns out to be true I guess I have no choice but to reverse my long standing support of decriminalization.
