AARP supported (donations and lobbying) the DEMOCRAT plans to gut Medicare Advantage which just happens to be a big competitor to their “Medigap plan” which is a large source of revenue for AARP. Can you say… AARP sold out their current members all for a chance to gain future members once the DEMOCRATS destroy the current system? And you want to defer to AARP ?

Seniors are the low hanging fruit for this President. He is treating $716 billion of their health benefits like a piggy bank for his big spending agenda.

However they try to spin it, ObamaCare is financed by rolling granny for the money she paid into Medicare during her working life.

Romney has said throughout the primaries, there will be no change for anyone over 55. For those under 55, eligibility age may be increased from 65 – 67 and some Medicare benefits for income earners over $1 million will be reduced.

Medicare has been one of the most abused federal entitlements since in began. Fraud runs rampant in the program. I don’t expect anyone to be able to end it even if they so desired.

What levels of income, by type, and tax rates on same would you find acceptable for Mr. and Mrs. Romney> Levels by which you could say, OK, based on the current tax laws in effect for that particular year, those amounts and rates are acceptable for a presidential candidate?

Oscar is a lackey for Rob-me and Ryan who want to take away your Medicare and Social Security. Rob-me and Ryan shouldn’t ELIMINATE Medicare and put in its place a MUCH COSTLIER voucher system which will HURT SENIORS. Obama is bringing DOWN the costs of healthcare and is HELPING seniors. Medicare is one of the best bargains in the UNITED STATES, but NOT if Rob-me and Ryan change it…..VOTE OBAMA to keep Medicare costs low and to help seniors

the GOP just CAN NOT run on their platform of eliminating Medicare…because it MAKES NO SENSE. The next thing they will be doing is offering us a $10 bill if we give them a $100 bill.
Remember: The GOP was vehemently against Medicare from the start and voted against it; the dems instituted Medicare and Obama wants to maintain it and make it better. That’s why he is going after Medicare fraud and increasing Medicare’s efficiency which is saving $700 billion—and not a dime is being cut from participants’ payments.
The GOP would phase out Medicare Parts A and B and it would become a voucher program, just like today’s insurance for the private sector is…AND that is escalating 100% every 10 years–completely unaffordable for anyone by Rob-me and Ryan–multi millionaires…….

I especially love his budget ripping all common decency from our nation. I guess it’s not enough people lost a fortune in homes, lost jobs they will never recover, have had pensions stolen, and all sorts of problems. No republican budget is no complete without further harming the people. I am convinced if Ronald Reagan was alive he’d go back to being a democrat at this point. He never intended this to go this far.
