“BREAKING NEWS”,…….This just out, President Obama has just given the word to have the Florida National Guard to start the evacuation of Tampa, due to tropical storm Issac. Normally we wouldn’t have to do this, at this time, but due to the fact that there are so many people in Tampa, that all believe they are in charge, an orderly evacuation later would be impossible

Been reading up on Mormon beliefs. And apparently Mormons believe Missouri is the “sacred land”, does that mean Romney will favor states like Missouri and Utah over other states like Virginia or Ohio? I don’t know that I care for that. How open is his church really?

I just LOVED the comment posted below! It deserves a reposting and a thoughtful read:

Four years ago, James Dobson and Focus On the Family ran an ad calling for people to pray to God to rain out Barack Obama’s speech at the Democratic National Convention in Denver. The weather was great.
Ironically, four days later, the Republican National Convention postponed due to Hurricane Gustav.
Since then…
Republican Glenn Beck said the Japanese earthquake and tsunami were a “message being sent” by God.
Republican Michele Bachmann said hurricane Irene were attempts by God “to get the attention of the politicians“.
Republican Pat Robertson blamed the earthquake in Haiti on that country’s “pact with the devil”, and Hurricane Katrina was God’s punishment for abortion.
Republican Jerry Falwell said that God allowed the 9/11 attacks as retribution for feminists and the ACLU.
Well now a hurricane (Isaac — whose name was taken from the Bible and literally means “he will laugh“ ) has once again cancelled the start of the GOP convention.
I still find it hilarious that ever since Dobson prayed for rain on the Democrats, the Republicans have received nothing but.
Ironically, RNC Host Committee CEO Ken Jones said that he will turn to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for help. Does someone need to remind him that government is not the solution?
