The wealth gap continues to widen. I don’t care which party you root for, this is a big problem. You can point out that half the country does not pay taxes and they need to pay their fair share but they simply don’t have it. Will the rich continue to squeal when only the top 30% are paying the load? How about at 20%? 10? Will they still say they need more breaks to “invest” back into the economy? When will we realize that the tax code is completely broken? As they earn more, their effective rates seem to get smaller and the gap increases. Reagan closed loopholes once, and the rich screamed because they ended up paying a hell of a lot more. I don’t hear much about that side of Reagan these days.

Obama is planning to raise everyone’s taxes starting Jan. 1st 2013 that will hit the upper-middle class and the middle class the hardest!

If Obama wins, the middle class loses!

The real problem is the gap between spending and taxes. Romney is advocating increasing defense spending, presumably to go to war with Iran plus decreasing taxes.

Nowhere does he explain how to balance spending and taxes. This is just a continuation of the failed policies of George W Bush that crashed our economy in 2008.

When Most of the revinews come off the backs of working low and middle class that’s cutting into the chance of progress for middle class and in doing so cuts insensitive to work hard for progress while artificially supporting the casual income of the wealthy that is unfair and not Christian in accordance to the Bible to him Much is give MUCH is expected so if you have vast talents you are expected to donate a large portion to those with less skill or knowledge for a Christian balance.. Mitt forgets the United Order of the Early Church and is not living the higher law that he was taught as a child.. but its been a long time since he was 8 and became accountable for his actions with others.True those that were able to work and failed to were cast out as drones but those that were unable to work were cared for the Right is trying to do that with all that are unable to labor for bread or household not just the people that wont work that could if they tried to . that’s one area the Right is too Wrong to be correct in their choices in where support is needed and is an honest need not just a dole for nothing.

The right wingers don’t understand that you don’t drastically cut spending in a bad recession lest you go into depression. Obama was correct in extending the tax cuts for the middle class because their money goes directly into the economy and thus helps create jobs. Obama was correct in trying not to extend tax cuts for the wealthy because they don’t need the money and this would NOT help job creation. Further, the right wingers want to cut Social Security, Medicare, and education in order to fund a tax cut for the wealthy, who don’t need it…and this tax cut for the wealthy could cost $1 trillion. The right wingers have blocked Obama’s job creation plans at every juncture BECAUSE they are mired in 19th Century thinking. THEREFORE, it is NOT true that anybody would be better than Obama–in fact, Rob-me would a MUCH WORSE because he has NO plan for anything–the economy, energy, immigration, etc–HE is an EMPTY SUIT who has 3 positions on EVERY issue….

Mitt says he will create 12 million jobs, I say I can create 20 million. Pass a law to outlaw outsourcing, pass a law to build a high speed rail system between every major city in the USA, increase defense funding to build 5 more carrires.

Of course it does–paying taxes is only for middle class chumps. That’s why Swiss Mitt won’t release his returns. It will blow a hole in the whiny wealthy’s argument that they pay their share of taxes.

NASA was already slated to end its shuttle flights BEFORE Obama took office. NASA itself still exists and has several functions, not limited to satellite launches and monitoring, etc. The fact is that the 1% have seen their wealth increase over 200% in the past 25 years while the middle class was stagnant or lost wealth. I love how people say that revenue went up when Bush cut his taxes – that spike was due to the booming economy. Once the economy tanked, so did the revenue intake. The rich pay a far less PERCENTAGE of their income than the middle class because of the Capital Gains rate of only 15% – that is why Romney paid so little relative to his total income.
