Remember this. The infrastructure in the US and the support systems like education, hospitals, airports, etc were built post WWII with tax money. So when a business needed electricity or running water and roads and rail or regulated community services or even TV and Radio to advertise "they did not build it" we the people did with tax dollars and shared investment. FYI the tax rate was on average about 65% on the 1% during the productive years 1945-60 while in the U.S. Today the effective tax rate is closer to 15%. No wonder the infrastructure is crumbling.

And we're supposed to believe this, why? Doesn't it seem odd that a candidate for the highest office in the land would have already Since we all know this campaign has been run like a three-ring circus and that Romney will say anything to achieve his goal so I don't believe for a minute that he won't implement Ryan Plan the second he gets into the White House, if he's elected.

"Gov. Romney applauds Paul Ryan for going in the right direction with his budget,” according to the talking points, “and as president he will be putting together his own plan for cutting the deficit and putting the budget on a path to balance.”

One would think that a "serious" candidate for the highest office in the land would have already put together a "plan" by this time, so either he's the most disorganized candidate ever or he's a flat out liar. Either way, it doesn't bode well for our country if we choose to elect him.

How the Romney & Ryan Plan for Prosperity will change your life:
You will be directed to retire from work later in life, have your guaranteed Social Security payment replaced with risky market investments, be forced to buy expensive private health insurance, drive on crumbling roads and unsafe bridges, eliminate your tax deduction for mortgage payments, live on minimum wage, give up most of the benefits that organized labor negotiated for workers over the last fifty years, be asked to offer up your children to serve in the military to protect corporations that outsource their investment income outside the U.S.
Romney hides his money off-shore. Never provides a real answer to questions. Blames Obama for the nasty economy Obama inherited from the Republicans who put two unpaid wars and the banking mortgage debacle on his administrations tab. Romney developed the post-NAFTA method of moving U.S. Corporations off-shore and sticking tax payers with underfunded pension and imploding state and local economies. His commitment to attack organized labor destroys years of partnerships in education, government services and health care. He is ready to go to war even though none of his family has served in the military.
Keep in mind Ryan has been in Washington for about twenty years helping create conditions that allowed corporations to shift over 30 trillion dollars off-shore to avoid taxes and potential investment in the U.S. economy. He has been willing to make Obama look bad even if it is at the expense of millions of Americans who trusted him to represent citizens, not the GOP and the 1%. He is a Randian and also helped create the conditions that allowed the recent banking heist of trillions of dollars from the Federal Reserve by the Wall Street vultures.
Romney is an elite and Ryan a dandy who will continue to allow tax loop holes and offer government welfare to the 1% while middle class people pays more. Their methods will not balance the U.S. budget, as tax revenue would always lag behind spending.

Mr. Obama’s Simpson-Bowles Commission was not permitted to consider a value added tax (VAT) or net wealth tax as potential tax reform tools. Blindfolded and with one hand tied behind their back they focused on tax expenditures (any deduction, credit, exemption, low rate, deferral or other “loophole” that reduces tax revenue). The commission members could not agree and congress is grateful for their efforts. The Japanese would have won World War II (or perhaps we would still be fighting it) if this group had been in charge of the 1939 Manhattan Project.

Romney's strongest case was that the economy is lackluster under Obama and that he knows how to get the economy fired up again. Now the focus in on the Ryan budget proposal and the extremist, corporatist ways Romney plans to slash when he gets in. All of a sudden the way Obama is handling things looks a whole lot better.

Who is Paul Ryan...Extremist Republican...You know Extremist we.. Went to war over extremist. now didn't we....That's who he is...
What I find amazing is the Executive office by and according to the Constitution Says neither Romney or Ryan is qualified for the duties of that office.... So why would we vote for them....You better look up what the duties of the President is...That is of course if you're voting for pawns to the Republican party...Which we all know want absolute rule....

"Paul Ryan understands the need for pro-growth economic policies and that massive debt is a drag on job creation."
Hmmmm. The House of Reps passes a budget, the President does not. He can either sign the budget bills the House and Senate pass, or veto them. So Paul Ryan and the House budget committee he serves plays a central role in passing budgets. Oops! They haven't really passed a budget in years - because Paul Ryan and his GOP pals have been intransigent obstructionists who've voted 33 times to unsuccessfully attempt to end Obamacare but can't pass a set of actual budget bills. Oh, sure, them passed a bogus roadmap budget, but bills to fund the major units of govt? Nope - just stop-gap continuing resolutions that are like wafling in the job-destroying wind of GOP bloviating.

I am unconvinced that Ryan could step in and be president, never having run for statewide office and having no foreign policy experience. But most importantly, this election just became a verdict on the Ryan budget plan which will gut Medicare and Social Security. The far right loves this, but Independents just went for the door. With Ryan now on the ticket, the central question just became: Do you want to balance the budget on the backs of seniors, youth and the most vulnerable, while continuing to make the super rich even richer?
