ROFL If there is anything "smart" about it, it would be the only smart thing this dolt has ever done in his life.

What the Crown Prince John Ellis is really saying is that King George II Walker Bush is staying away so as not to seriously damage the Crown Prince's 2016 Restoration efforts. Jeb is not staying away.

People forget that the Democrats controlled everything for alot of his presidency.

No they didn't Robin that's just not factual. Bush and his majority Republican congress (both House and Senate) were at the controls for the bulk of it.

The Republicans held the majority in Congress for basically 12 straight years – from 1994 through 2006 and the presidency for the last 6 of those years and more.

Plenty of time to build a robust, 'trickle-down' Republican economy?

It was during that time the sub-prime loans grew exponentially and the housing bubble swelled to bursting - the two things that sunk the economy.

In fact, the sub-prime industry and the housing bubble were already beginning to fall apart a year before the Democrats took Congress.

And still the Republicans try to pretend they’re don't hold responsibility. Shameful.

And surely Robin you remember what a mess the country was in when Bush left office . ..

1) Hundreds of thousands of real people losing their jobs every month, month after month to a total of 8.5 million people;
2) hundreds of thousands of people losing their homes and being kicked out of them month after month at record levels;
3) tens of thousands of businesses small and large going bankrupt;
4) major banks and financial institutions on the verge of default;
5) stock market in full collapse;
6) major American auto companies about to go bankrupt;
7) demands on government resources skyrocketing;
8) government revenues collapsing as millions of taxpayers were losing their jobs and no longer paying income tax;
9) the demand for unemployment insurance exploding;
10) a doubled national debt and huge interest payments
11) a $1.2 trillion deficit for 2009 before Obama even walked through the door
12) to date, over $1.25 trillion in interest on the debt left for Obama
13) two major wars the costs of which were not being factored into the budget
14) bin Laden still at large
15) al Qaeda still attempting to attack America
16) North Korea having tested nuclear weapons
17) Iran having built an underground nuclear facility and producing nuclear materials
and on and on . . .

I am so sick of hearing how George ruined everything and is so horrible. I love the guy. He didn't do any better or any worse than any other president. In fact, when he was president, i was doing great financially. I was making alot more money at my job and we had a great health plan at my job then.People forget that the Democrats controlled everything for alot of his presidency. He is nice and likable. There is nothing good to say about Obama and his hidden agenda to destroy America;especially white america. The disdain has been all over his face from day one. I am sick of his lame excuse that it's Bush's fault. No it's not. He had time to do at least so good but he has done everything to destroy our way of life. Get wise people. It's time to vote this joker out and put Mitt in so we can reclaim our country as we have always known it. I am a Republican but i do think it's wimpy not having George there-or Cheney or Sarah. They should man-up. Oh well.

Face it. George W. Bush is not showing up because he represents bad Republican policies that destroyed the economy, perpetrated an unjustified neo-con war, doubled the national debt and created deficit after deficit.

That is the Republican record and the Republicans don't want it around.

Bush told Sawyer. "Now we're in year four of a presidency, think back into American history, think of a president that" got us into a war that we still are trying to get out of, brought about so much budget deficit it will impact the country for decades, dismantled so much regulation that corporations have more power than people (Oh wait, Corporations are people, people are their servants.)

I'm a Republican that hates Romney. He will do everything to destroy the middle class, but I don't care, because I'm rich.

It's unusual to see "George W and Smart" in the same sentence unless there is an "isn't" in there. And to respond to Jeb, W set up the problem and Congress is making sure it sticks around to make Obama a 1 term president.
