You do reallize that he’s not a senator but rather a congressman, right? And that Wisconsin isn’t California. In fact, the Koch brothers are from Wisconsin and they are one of his biggest contributors election after election. They like him because he’s anti-science, supports the wealthy at the expense of everyone else and has backwards view on women.

Also, Romney Ryan is superlatively weak on national security and foreign policy….. Normally, the GOP has been strong on security. It’s the first time in my lifetime that they have totally abandoned this aspect of their platform.

Ryan, as an able-bodied, intelligent young man, applied for Social Security funds so that he could attend a public university.

For all of his principles and belief in self-determination….. he took advantage of an entitlement program intended for seniors and the disabled to pay his way through college.

I had to take out loans and work several jobs and get scholarships. But you know what, I still think that the government should spend MORE money helping people get an education….. Ryan, on the other hand, does not.

If you look at his medicare/ssn scheme, it smacks of the same pathology. He wants US to pay for medicare and ssn for everyone over 55 (his key supporters)….. then he wants to deny us access to these same programs.

The greatest generation believed in sacrifice for the future generations….. the Ryan generation believes that we should all sacrifice ourselves for them. Take a good look at their history, the baby boomers have always been really good at helping themselves, totally blowing it for future generations.
