This kind of thing is nothing new in Hollywood. Stars are always in the news (getting arested, jailed, divorced, or saving lives) right before a release of big-budget film. If the raid was planned for propaganda purposes (like they do in Hollywood), rather than merely being exploited as propaganda, that is much worse. I saw no emails dated prior to May 2, 2011–those would be really interesting.

The book “No Easy Day” released to Huffington Post and Associated Press raises a lot of questions about the bin Laden raid not being what the White House claimed. Other questions remain unanswered so far include:

(1) Who killed the man presumed to be Osama bin Laden, if not the Seals? Was it a resident of the compound or another team assigned to the mission? Did the Seals know that could happen or were they surprised (and possibly placed in unusual danger above what they typically face)?

(2) If bin Laden was shot in the head, how did the Seals definitively identify him by facial appearance? Was it dark? Wikipedia states the Seals identification of Osama bin Laden as the key evidence. Is that solid?

(3) What language did the Seals use to verify his identity with the women present? Exactly who did the women say the dead man was? Could the dead man in the room have been a bin Laden relative? How clear was the communication?

(4) Did the Seals collect DNA samples? Where were those samples sent to be tested and against what DNA was it compared?

(5) Are all the other Seals on the mission still alive or were some killed in one of two crashes since the raid?

(6) What do the Seals make of reports online that Osama bin Laden died in December, 2001?

(7) Are the rumors about the Navy Seal Team 6 contemplating killing El Chapo, the kingpin of the Sinaloa cartel, true (Business Insider, Wired, last week), and was that leaked by the White House (articles cite the Pentagon and DOD as the sources)? Is that leak a potential threat to Seals, if the target knows they are coming?

How can the public ever trust anything we read in the news after being misled by the Obama administration? The news is supposed to be real–a different concept from Hollywood B.S. The actions of the Obama White House are not making sense and it is getting worse as we get closer to the election. Is anyone in charge anymore or has half the country gone rogue, while the other half is in denial?

Bush turned his attention from Afghanistan to his pet neo-con project in Iraq. Deaths in Afghanistan went up every year under Bush as the Taliban strengthened and regrouped. This trend continued until Obama’s policy was fully enacted. Since then coalition deaths have gone down every year.

and btw, over two thousand American service-people have been killed in Afghanistan since the beginning of hostilities on 9/11. Only 575 of which were George Bush’s!

“playing fast and loose” is not a serious charge, it’s a hollow, meaningless phrase designed to sound serious and important. What a bunch of cheap, smear-artist propaganda pimps the Republican right are.
