I hope (although I have little faith) that the major networks will do their jobs.

All Republicans love Ronald Reagan and Ryan is no exception. It’s not only Paul Krugman who hates the Ryan budget. Two of Reagan’s economic advisers, Bruce Bartlett and David Stockman, have used the words “fantasy” and “fairy tale” respectively to describe it.

More attention also needs to be paid to Ryan’s love for Ayn Rand, whose philosophy has taken hold in a lot of the GOP. Rand is one scary woman. Put aside the fact that she was a hypocrite, her notion of an ideal man was a sociopath named William Edward Hickman. Hickman was a serial killer to dismembered one of his victims. Small wonder that Ryan’s budget has been described as immoral by Catholic nuns and bishops.

Isn’t it funny that when the poll goes their way, the progressives are so very supportive; but when it the poll does not support their agenda, the excuses pour like the mighty Niagra.

Ryan and the Tea Party want to lower spending because they do not want the wealthy to have to pay their fair share. They want the burden to be on the middle class and those with a fixed income.

The only difference between Pre and Post Announcement is what the media says! It like asking people if they were safer the day before 9/11 and the day after 9/11! There was only a perception of the safety based on knowing what happened on 9/11! Early perceptions are often incorrect and change once further information is provided.

The poll seems about what I expected to see. Obama liked the Ryan budget just last year. Obama said it needed some work, but it was good. The party smacked him down for not staying on prompter though and was was forced to “evolved his mind” over time.

This poll is worthless and the results are the exact opposite of the one Gallup did regarding Ryan which is also worhtless.

The Republicans now again return to their posturing as fiscally responsible and economically knowledgeable. It’s a recurring joke. If you look at history there is absolutely NO evidence that republicans are fiscally responsible. We have tried the businessman as president before which is why we are where we are…businessman are only interested in business and getting themselves and their friends rich…and we want to try this again…what is the definition of insanity…doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results. Name one businessman who was a successful president.
