And while we’re on the subject of unsupported non-factoids, who in the hell ever told you ‘women produce negative hormones to prevent pregnancy’?!?!? That is without a doubt as DUMB a statement as Akins original statement! Clearly Robert, you are letting your partisanship blind you to reality here. And you really, REALLY need a refresher course in basic human biology.

ROBERT – Really, you think what Todd Akin meant “is that many women claim ‘rape’ after a night of consensual sex, in which case they are not really raped. That has happened often.” So, that’s what you think and therefore what Todd meant? Many women? Was that off the top of you head? So where’s the science? Cutting him slack doesn’t make him less bankrupt. It simply makes you like him.

CommonSenseParty – It’s very clear where your partisanship lies – letting Akin off the hook and then comparing to … some uncited things Biden and Obama said. By saying you know what Akin was trying to say, you’re both implying it was something other than what he said and that it was something less stupid. So, he has substance and this was just a matter of style? Wrong. Do any homework? Or do you simply adopt the same strategy everywhere? Give the “conservative” the slack in your rush to score your drone points by invoking the adolescent anti-Obama argument — “oh huh, the’re just as stupid.” CommonSenseParty? I know where you get your numbers, and you have chosen to quote what is belief and fiction — what you want to be true rather than what is true. What a turn around since I’m sure PP was an ardent supporter of Akin BEFORE he made these comments and they are no doubt leading contributors to many GOP office seekers. (Where is that sarcasm emoticon?) Why does this aspect of the story warrant a notice at all let alone a headline? it would be like running a headline that says “Sarah Palin doesn’t want Obama re-elected.” DUH!
