"George S. just drilled Paul Ryan for specifics on This Week and got none….zilch….zero" - The Liberal Vamp

Yes George showed his bias today.
Of course he got no specifics and none will be forth coming.
This will have to be worked out with Demos once the Romney Presidency starts.
It's the third rail of politics Vampy and it's amazing that these guys are willing to deal with it once elected. You must belong to the Cookie Roberts school of politics which believes we can never revamp the tax code so we are doomed to build the deficit until it blows up.

James, you're posting an email from the Romney campaign-- a campaign email! lol. From the same campaign that is running debunked ads that have earned them pants on fire ratings and helped solidify their reputations as big fat liars with no integrity and no records or ideas worth running on.

And btw...

"The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Saturday shows President Obama attracting support from 46% of voters nationwide, while Mitt Romney earns 44% of the vote. Four percent (4%) prefer some other candidate, and five percent (5%) are undecided." So, ahem, Gallup: Obama+4, Ipsos: Obama+4 and Rasmussen: Obama +2 meaning Gallup has moved 3 points toward Obama, Ipsos and Rasmussen have both moved 5 points in Obama’s direction.

Advantage, Obama.

there are no specifics at Romney's website or anywhere else. If there were he would be saying them in his campaign. He has no specifics, no numbers, nothing that any financial organization can score. It's all a big fairytale. For instance....specifically what loopholes is he going to close to make up for his trillions in tax cuts? If there really were any specifics, it would be easy to list them.

Vampire,

ALL the SPECIFICS you want are at Romney's website. You are beyond a tool if you think I am going to cut and paste 50 pages of specifics for you, when you and I know YOU have made up YOUR mind. The above post are for those who are considering a change for the better, or who are sitting on the fence, and want to know WHAT Obama's REAL record is to date, since no one involved with the Obama campaign dare share with the public what Obama's record has actually been these last 3 3/4 years.

Right-wingers will continue to post long bogus lists of everything wrong...but they can't tell you any specifics about what Romney will do about it.

Two questions: 1) Has there ever been a more comprehensive failure than Barack Obama? 2) Why would the Romney campaign ever run an ad that doesn’t include at least a couple of these figures?

Comparing employment in the USA to Africa is silly and irrelevant.

"Paul Krugman calls that “he looked at me funny” economic theory." - The Liberal Vamp

If Paul Krugman knew how the economy works instead of blabbering on about unproven theories all the time then your statement might have weight.

The United States is ranked 13th in the world (200 nations) in full time employment vs. population at 45.3%! Could it be better? Sure, Sweden leads the world at 52% but it could worse, nations in Central Africa are less than 10%! The GOP is making way too much out of monthly job reports from the Federal government; America is working and working more every month since 2010. The Tea Party (Paul Ryan) complains about the BLS unemployment rate as being inaccurate because it drops yet rallies for the new job figures because they are not what was expected... sure, use what's good for YOU and trash what's not. The Feds BLS numbers are bogus anyway-America is working, if you don't think so go to Africa and live.
