There are some glaring negative stereotypes. Why are you so scared and or put off by us? We are your neighbors, family members, co-workers and friends. We have jobs, pay our taxes, serve in the military, do regular charity work, defend our constitution and your rights in the process. We are firemen, doctors, lawyers, first responders, carpenters, electricians, IT professional, mechanics, truck drivers, salesmen, etc. regular people representing all walks of life. The American Biker Culture and Lifestyle is a part of our American fabric that should be embraced and preserved as it represents basic American freedoms and doesn't bend to forces that look to divide and tear it down. It is a truly a sad state of affairs that many people here in this Republic have become so conditioned by law enforcement propaganda, bad TV documentaries, movies and dramas, media misinformation and overly hyped new reports regarding "episodes" between the very small percentage of bikers who break the law. Folks... every class of citizen has issues. Police, politicians, religious clergy, teachers, etc. have their issues, yet bikers seem to maintain the negative image in the public eye. If you don't know us, please don't judge us. Open your eyes, your mind and your heart. I think you will be pleasantly surprised. "Motorcycle Clubs Are NOT Street Gangs". When my mother was 85, we went to a restaurant where several bikers milled around outside. I asked them if we could take their picture with their arms around my mother. Not only did they happily consent, but they allowed her to sit on one of their bikes! I'll never forget the look on my mother's face, a mixture of terror and joy. In the photo above, Biden and the girl biker look happy. The guys, not so much. Probably thought Biden was going to steal away their girl. Hey, forget the stereotype.
