We have two choices in this election. We can continue with the theory that a small group of politicians have the brilliance to fix the economy (although they have done a pretty terrible job so far) or that the way to stimulate the economy is to harness the great engine of free enterprise that will allow the millions of entrepreneurs in this country to expand the economy while our government relaxes the overbearing regulations and shrinks government to a point of fiscal responsibility. Historically the path we are on has the results we have experienced...and the other path is when our economy and our country really thrives.

Yes, this IS a referendum on Mitt Romney and the destructive proposals his campaign has produced over the course of his candidacy. The fact that he hides his true beliefs, only to reveal them on a hidden video, proves that he cannnot be trusted by, not just the 47% he directly insulted, but the American electorate as a whole. Romney lies in his attempts to convince the Middle Class that he "cares" when his only concern is to enact even more tax cuts for himself, his friends, and his superpac operatives. He doesn't care what his actions will do to ordinary citizens, with his determination to destroy Social Security and Medicare. Fact is that any Middle Class citizen voting for this uber-rich, ultra right wing, self centered candidate Romney will be labeled a traitor to the Middle Class...because they are.

And what have the Republicans accomplished. This GOP-led 112th House of Representatives in Congress has already been rated as the "least productive since Herbert Hoover days". ...It's the Republicons who conspired to undermine the Obama presidency from it's first day. The plot to obstruct, to filibuster, to block, and oppose his actions at every turn was hatched on inauguration night Jan 20, 2009 at a private dinner organized by Frank Luntz. Paul Ryan was in attendance.
The Republicons basically went on strike the night Obama was inaugurated. The Republicons
had agreed on a way forward: Show united and unyielding opposition to the president’s economic policies. Newt Gingrich was quoted as saying "This begins the seeds of 2012, we are going to block him... the one commitment is to stop the re-election of this president". A year later this was confirmed by Mitch McConnell who said 'The single most important thing we want to achieve is
for President Obama to be a one-term president."
Since then, the obstructionist Republicon-controlled house have filibustered everything, invoking
the 60 vote majority rule in the Senate more times during this session than any Congress in history.
The Republicons blocked more than 60 Obama appointees forcing many agencies to operate without proper leadership.
The Republicons time and time again walked out of negotiations such as the Simpson Bowles commission. Mr. Ryan did not mention that he had served on that commission And he led Republicans in voting down the commission's own recommendations. It was Paul Ryan who
walked away from the Simpson Bowles.
The Republicons have repeatedly moved the goalpost.
The Republicons held the economy hostage in a manufactured debt ceiling crisis that caused the nation’s credit rating to be lowered for the first time in history. Standard & Poors directly attributed the downgrade to REPUBLICANS and their no tax agenda. Republicans turned down an offer of
$10 spending cuts for every $1 of tax increase."We have changed our assumption on this because the majority of Republicans in Congress continue to resist any measure that would raise revenues,
a position we believe Congress reinforced by passing the act".
The Republicons voted down their own deficit reduction resolution, apparently because they didn’t want the president to share credit.
The Republicons all eagerly signed a lifetime pledge to one man, Grover Norquist, to never raise any taxes at any time, under any circumstances, conflicting with their oath of office to defend the Constitution.
The Republicons falsely campaigned on a platform of "Jobs, Jobs, Jobs" in 2010. Once in office,
all their talk about jobs evaporated. For they are only concerned with abortion issues, tax cuts for
the rich, and grabbing back the whitehouse.
The Republicons unaminously voted against the economic stimulus, yet they fell all over them-selves to make it to ribbon cuttings, taking credit when projects funded by the stimulus start turning over dirt. Paul Ryan requested funds.
The Republicon Governors are firing teachers, firefighters and police officers, attacking public
sector workers thru union busting for what they falsely claim the need to balance their budgets.
The Senate Republicons blocked the "Bring Jobs Home Act", that would end the tax breaks to companies that out source jobs — and give tax breaks to companies that hire here.
The Republicons blocked 3 million jobs that would have been created with the "American Jobs
Act" in August, 2011.
The Republicons filibustered of the "Small Business Tax Credit" that would have created one million jobs.
The Senate Republicons filibustered the "Veterans Job's bill that was already paid for, turning their backs on our war veterans coming home.
The Senate Republicans filibusteres the 9/11 responders bill passed by the House.
The Republicans have introduced 46 bills on abortion, 113 bills on religion, 73 bills on family relationships, 36 bills on marriage, 72 bills on firearms, 604 bills on taxation, 467 bills on government investigation AND BLOCKED THE AMERICAN JOBS ACT.
The Republicons secretly conspired with 300 corporations behind closed doors of American Legislative Exchange Council (A.L.E.C.) and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce to write legislation advantageous to the corporate oligarchy at the expense of the American people.
The Republicons blocked the Dream Act, then complained Obama does zip for Immigration problem.
The Republicons signed an oil industry-sponsored pledge to oppose all climate regulation defeat-ing any chance of passing climate legislation, , a resounding victory for the oil companies.
The Senate Republicons filibustered a bill that would have stripped big oil companies of multi-billion annual tax subsidies.
The Republicons were for the individual mandate before they were against it. The individual mandate was originally a Republicon plan. In 1993, when Hillary Clinton was proposing health-
care reform and a employer mandate, Republican's advocated an alternative that included the individual mandate. Republicons called the individual mandate a “market-based” approach to health care reform. 33 times the House has tried to repeal all or part of President Obama's health care law.
The Republicons conspired with the two billionare political operatives David and Charles Koch, to deny you your right to vote through voter suppression laws. The Kochs have funded efforts to thwart 21 million Americans from voting and Koch dollars helped write and propose voting suppression
bills in 38 states that will put ballot boxes out of reach or millions of Americans eligible to vote, many of whom are African Americans. Hispanics, low-income poor, physically disabled, students
and seniors.
'Just say no' is the Republicon slogan. 'No Compromise' is the Republicon mantra. 'Defeat Obama'
is the Republicon agenda.
Republicon John Boehner said "This is not a time for compromise, and I can tell you that we will
not compromise on our principles".
Republicon John Boehner "I reject the word compromise".
Republicon Richard Mourdock, said: “I have a mindset that says bipartisanship ought to consist of Democrats coming to the Republican point of view.”
Republicon Mike Pence (R-Ind.), "There will be no compromise".
The Republicon obstructionism has caused the the slow recovery. The Republicons chose party
over country. In some foreign countries their actions would be considered an act of treason.

It's not OBAMA-CARE; It's OBAMA-SCARE. I PRAY that Romney/Ryan wins so we can get this kick this repealed.

And as for everyone paying their fair share B.S.; and this administration demonizing the rich(who he gets plenty of his $$$ from)...fair to me is the rich paying a percent and as well as the poor also paying a percent as they use the roads, schools, and all other services as much if not more than others. I'm not saying the same percent for rich and poor but they would probably feel good that they are part of the whole of the United States of America.

And I'm sick of hearing the race card...we are all one in this country. I don't care what color, religion or how much $$$ you make. We are just an average couple in TX living simply in a mobile home that has all our needs and that is the choice we made in order to travel on exotic vacations once a year instead of a fancy home...but I do not mind those who have mega millions or billions and live in rich homes. They earned it and can do as they please. They should be able to donate to who they want and not have the gov't tell them to give it to Washington DC to distribute to who they want to give it too.

VOTE ROMNEY/RYAN ...for a better America.

The chameleon campaign continues! Trust us, the pick the correct pecan shell in our game and win the big prize. Just keep on playing, we assure you that the pea is under one of them! Trust us---we have the answers, we just have to keep them secret from everyone until after the election.

We don't want them stolen. We have the answer to the "do nothing Republican bloc in Congress". They just don't want to pass any legislation which will help reduce unemployment, improve the economy, reduce the deficit by trading 4 dollars in cuts for 1 dollar in new authorizations, help the farmers, fill federal judicial vacancies, etc. until we win the election.

Trust us! Everything will be alright! We have the answers! By the way, help our cause, buy one more bottle of our cure all snake oil! Who needs Obamacare when you can buy our miracle product!

What you owe us are DETAILS....HOW ABOUT SOME DETAILS? There are some of us who would understand your plans if you gave us some details.. The vote us in first and then we will give details is not working. How more insulting can you get than to say...our plans are too deep for the average person to understand. Well, some of us 47% have a brain and can figure things out...believe it or not.

These are the same elegant lies that Romney tells but Ryan is the better actor. He doesn't have boyish charm. I can also do a power point presentation. Have taught that way for years. Neither he or Mitt Romney have any intention of helping the working class American. They are for the corporations and the rich. the r lobbyists supported by the rich, will influence the congress to vote for them and Romney will go along with them, just as Geoge Bush did. Look at the people that are supporting him financially. they will expect favors to be returned. Romney isn't be any more qualified to be president than he was a governor. just ask the voters from Mass. Hr has no foreign policy ideas and not rapport with mid east cultures. He thinks they will fix themselves. He will just wait and not have to deal with them. They will deal with us severely at the cost of American lives. Our country can't risk the likes of these two unqualified narrowminded candidates.

From the posts here, some of you have the boys...Romney-Ryan...described perfectly.: Dale, Syndy,Eatme Mitt, Tom and Freedom: THANK YOU!

NOW we will soon see if the majority of the country has a taste for Snake
Oil. Romney-Ryan is THAT commody written large.

Talk about destroying the country! Romney-Ryan is ready to jet away to the South Seas and let the rest of us go down the drain.

That Ryan is about as AMERICAN as the tin-cut beer can toys made in Occupied Japan after the war. Of course, the Japanese had an excuse. They had just lost a war. Ryan hasn't started one and lost it yet...without serving, of course...but give him time.

Google: Gen. Smedley Butler (who won TWO Medals of Honor, no Chicken hawk here) on WAR IS A RACKET. It might tell you WHY Romney-Ryan is so hot to rule the States. There's a mint full of money for smart investors in war.

Who said "government by consent of the governed"? How many important decisions have been made with our consent, Paul, in the last few decades. Never mind without our consent, at least not behind closed doors with lobbysts? What is going to happen to all your special interests if you start going by our consent?
