Further, Romney is a draft dodger (Google it if you need to) and wants to run the country like he would a business - it's a country NOT a corporation. You can't just bulldog your way with countries like China as if it's a hostile takeover. He flip-flops so much on his stance on foreign policy NO ONE CAN TRUST WHAT HE SAYS! Just like he did on his foot-in-mouth video he tells his audience what they think they want to hear, just like he would in a boardroom and tries to strike a deal, but on the world stage that approach gets us in to trouble - just ask Prime Minister Blair how he faired standing by a US President who used Colin Powell to maneuver the UN in to supporting Iraq based on unconfirmed intelligence. President Obama has been dealing with national security issues as CINC and as a Senator he dealt with the socio-economic backlash from 2 major conflicts, an aspect that CAN NOT be divorced from any foreign policy especially in a global economy.

It seems to be the modus operandi of the right wing extermists that hijacked my Republican party to continually throw stones based on scanty information without a counter-solution. Romney is hardly the right answer - inexperienced and naive is generous. His statement that Russia is our number one enemy shows he plans to use the same advisers stuck on Cold War methods and that will cripple our national defense - you never fight the last war. Further his eagerness to push the free market with little regard for the consequences at home will inevitably overextend our social infrastructure as well as the military, who has to be able to defend those trade routes. You can triple the budget all you want but the industrial base can only produce so much in a short amount of time - meanwhile terrorists are still trying to strike our homeland.

Further Max, you are drawing an oversimplistic line b/w the President and the actions of Islamists who are uneducated, easily incensed, and looking for a reason to vent their frustration toward a single figure - not President Obama, the UNITED STATES. That's how terrorists and insurgents gain power - from Ho Chi Minh, to Iatollah Khomeni, to freedom fighters in El Salvador. Bush had the same reactions, and even more so because of the hegemonic posture his policies portrayed the US to the world. The Middle East was greatly affected by colonialism and forced policies by foreign governments - their memory, unlike ours, doesn't reset every 4 years.

And btw, newsflash the Middle East has been on fire and unlike the desires of folks who want to fight the cold war (like Sen McCain) because it's all they know, we haven't placed ourselves in the middle of it. The Arab Spring is the result of Arab citizens that have been educated abroad, through the Internet, and simple cultural diffusion from a global economy becoming aware that they as a people have the power to demand more of their government.

Support the Muslim brotherhood? cite your source. No, he's supported Israel by standing by a budget that provided Israel over 90 million dollars to supplement their missile defense system (Iron Dome and Arrow systems, which have been proven effective), in addition to getting Israel to exercise restraint to deescalate a conflict that we can't afford or need right now. Israel would be making a huge tactical error trying to exercise a unilateral attack - they don't have enough depth to reconnoiter for a long war, which is what it would be.

Max you're tunnel visioned by the latest events like a cat to a laser pointer. You're forgetting about the more than 50 terrorist heads that were killed (to include Osama) last year, not to mention the several hundred that have had their plots foiled, added to the fact that we have not had a major terrorist incident on American soil. His redirection and protection of resources that pushed cooperative intelligence, special ops, cyberwarfare are the main tools we've used to gain these successes. My judgement of his competency as a commander in chief or as a President are not limited to the last 4 months.

Continuing to run for your seat in the House of Representatives while pretending you believe you still have a chance to be on the winning ticket is "projecting power?" This lying clown needs to look in the mirror before he questions how "powerful" someone who actually was elected appears.

BTW, I'd include Obama as an arm chair quarterback. He is an amateur and really has no clue what to do. He thought bowing, apologizing, telling them he grew-up in Islamic countries (I take that as code that he is a Muslim in his heart) so he understands them and supporting Arab Spring would make Islam love the USA. Now we hear chants of "Obama we are Osama!" We see American flags being burned with pictures of Obama on them. We hear Egypt saying we need to respect their religious views and to abandon our First Amendment rights, and so Obama asks Google to take down the YouTube video - now THAT is an attack on the US Constitution. Obama never should have asked in the first place and should have told Egypt we have freedom of speech in America "it is what it is, deal with it".

Substantial gains against terrorism? Then how did our embassy in Libya get crushed and our ambassador raped and murdered, along with 3 other Americans when we were warned? If Obama is so good on foreign policy, why does he support the Muslim Brotherhood and turn his back on Israel? Now the Middle East is on fire.
