You have to laugh how desperate liberals are in their arguments AGAINST voter I.D. In their effort to paint conservatives as crazy, racist, oppressive, blah, blah, blah, the left wingnuts come off sounding so incredibly dumb it's jaw dropping.

Can't say I'm surprised an intellectual like Silverman is popping off. She's a Hollyweird loon, and I'm sure there will be more liberal hacks voicing an opinion that most of the country couldn't care less about.

Silverman is a comedian who is sadly not funny on this topic.
If we had required an ID to vote in the 2008 election, I don't think Obama would have won. C'MON, I don't believe I'm the only one who received mail-in ballots a few times a week from the Obama campaign!!
Every American citizen has access to a picture ID. It's not a big deal.
Obama's new campaign, "Vote early and vote often."

"Everyone with a bench warrant for not paying a simple traffic citation will be scared from obtaining a picture ID fearing arrest… " You are not allowed to vote. Done.

Everyone with a bench warrant for not paying a simple traffic citation will be scared from obtaining a picture ID fearing arrest... This will affect thousands of people, this is aimed at the poor and people who are having financial difficulties.

Silverman says: “Sheldon…(a 78 year man) I have a proposal for you, and I’m serious…If you give that $100 million to Obama instead of Romney I will– well, I won‘t have sex with you because we’re not married and I’m a nice girl– but I will scissor you, wearing a bikini bottom, through to fruition…” and the proceeds would be given to a pro-Obama Super PAC backed by none other than the son of George Soros. She then goes on to demonstrate the effort with a dog. Not the first time with her and a dog... She played the role of herself licking her dog's gentiles on her TV show as well, so she's a real class act that sets the example we should all follow. I don't know why the left believes she's an example of something to follow.

I bet 75-90% of those who claim not to have an ID would get one in a day or 2 if any of their entitlement programs required it.

THEFIRSTONE00 | SEPTEMBER 24, 2012, 3:43 PM......My vote is very important to me. ONE fraudulent vote cancels out my vote. I think independent voter fraud shows the number to be dignificantly higher than the number you quoted. What solution to prevent voter fraud do you offer?

Oh I get it , rush it through now so people who don’t have all the documents needed ,won’t have the time to get them and the voter ID in time to vote . Here is an idea , Why not just , put the new law ineffect after the ELECTION . That would give people more time to get what they need in time for the next election , how about that ! Posted by: Paula | September 24, 2012, 2:01 pm 2:01 pm ___ EXACTLY. The Bush Adm. started a 5 year study of voter fraud with the result of 0.00005% nation wide of voter fraud and most of those where convicted felons who did not realize they had lost their right to vote. If the Repubs were cincerly concerned about voter fraud AND concerned about protecting every one's right to vote then why would the NOT say something like in 5 years everyone has to have a photo id in order to vote or why would they not do something about absentee voting where there is the most likihood of voter fraud - oh I know why because statistics show that a majority of absentee voters are Republicans so they don't want to interfer with that do they. ID's can be faked by the way. Why is it ONLY in Republican controled states are these laws being enacted. Why would the Penn Repub Chair say on film that voter ID law was enacted to help Romney win the election...not to protect the vote but to help Romney will the election. Penn admitted recently in court that there has not been 1 singe case of voter fraud in Penn AND that their law would NOT stop fraud anyway. They admitted this in court. Why not take the time to ensure that NO ONE's viting rights are taken away. Not to mention that it has been republicans who have actually been convicted of voter fraud..now that is irony

It looks like it should fail in PA. The PA Supreme Court sent it back with a few implied messages that the lower court better get it right this time and not pass this voter suppression law, at least for this election. Maybe next time it can be done right without suppressing so many voters.
