So because Ryan wants to close the loophole with DISCUSSION and DEBATE in a Public Forum he is being crucified. Do the liberals remember the promises of transparency when a young unqualified Senator from Illinois campaigned in 2008 about he would CHANGE politics by putting congressional activities and debates on Cspan? You want to have have HOPE in a government who believes that by printing more Monet as Bernake is doing will get us out of this economy??? Wait till it drives up prices in the grocery stores and gas prices hit $6 per gallon. Oh wait then the left will send all their union workers on strike to demand higher wages!! I see they have it ALL figured out!

LOVE USA: "Obama (and Eric Holder) do not permit the mention of Islam in any references to terrorism. Mentioning Islam in terrorist training for federal officers, is banned." - - - Well DUH! They are getting anti-terrorism training, NOT anti-Islam training. They are getting terrorism awareness training, NOT Islam awareness training. They are getting training to deal the terrorism, ANY and ALL terrorism, not training to profile Muslims. That is because terrorists come in all races, colors, sexes, and most if not all of the major religions.

Arkievet: Near depression was prevented, too big to fail didn't exist during Regan. And btw, he funded his economy with the cold war and military build up and tripled the debt. Bush had a war economy lowest job creation in the private sector highest amount of government job creation via homeland security, and of course his private job creation, Halliburton, blackwater and military contractors, yeah and Romney/Ryan eying another unfunded war probably with Iran cutting taxes for the top 1%, then blaming welfare for the increase debt, then telling us 98% that we need to put more skin into the game, plus our kids blood on the line. So typical. If they want another war go pay for it instead of putting it on the credit card. And we need to disband some of these too big to fail institutions.

Obama (and Eric Holder) do not permit the mention of Islam in any
references to terrorism. Mentioning Islam in terrorist training for
federal officers, is banned. The military's Fort Hood massacre report
- where 41 people were shot - does not mention Islam, or terror, or
the Muslim shooter, Nidal Hassan, anywhere in the report, despite the
obvious motivations. Eric Holder, when questioned in congress, will
not acknowledge the existence of Islamic terrorism. Janet Napolitano
is under orders to avoid the use of terms like 'war on terror,' or
'Islamic terrorism,' and instead, call it 'Man-Caused Disasters.'

time to overthow obama's kingdom:

"Three Un-Wise Men." King Barack, Prince Harry and Joe the Joker must go

With national debt quickly approaching $16,000,000,000,000—yes, 16 trillion dollars—and gas prices hovering around $4/gallon across the country, American taxpayers are drowning. But Obama, Reid and Biden want to raise our taxes to continue paying for their big government programs, like Obamacare! They're willing to wager America's future prosperity for their ideological goals.

@ Ohio4romney: "Obama is evil to the core" LOL. The Right Wing's imaginary Dark Lord.

Do you live in Ohio? Fortunately for those voters in Ohio and Michigan, President Obama made the right decision to help the auto industry - not just for jobs in those states, but related businesses all across the nation.

Mitt Romney recommended that GM go into bankruptcy. Since there WAS NO free market alternative for financing, it was the government or nothing. Picture how the economy in Ohio would look after unemployment rippled throughout the industry.

So why should we vote for a candidate whose decisions would have plunged millions more into job loss? Sorry, hatred for President Obama is not a good enough reason to vote for a terrible alternative.

Obama's 'sugar-bounce' will fade in a few days. I still feel this race is neck and neck. I feel Romney & Ryan should come out BOLD and very aggressive. Romney has a hell of a lot more money than Obama and is about to have a deluge of ads in the swing states. Recent polling showed the GOP base has an energized level of 87% versus Democrats at 52%, after both Conventions. We have to get out the vote. Another element, Romney is a hell of a lot better debater than Obama....remember, Romney is an expert at factual data, an area that Obama stumbles on...and...Obama wont have his beloved teleprompter in the debates....we know how many gaffes Obama makes when he speaks on his own. Romney will win this election...we have to continue the fight, continue to push forth the truth! Obama is evil to the core....full of deception and hate for America!

@ Arkie Vet: you posted: "First, the increased revenue of what you mentioned would actully be only about 848 billion. not 1.5 trillion.. your statement is @ a 200% inflation of the facts."

According to whom? My source was the Washington Post. And new job creation? Here's the worst job creation since records have been kept according to that left wing newspaper, The Wall Street Journal: 3 million (net) new jobs in EIGHT YEARS under the last Republican administration. America's job creation engine was BROKEN by the time President Obama took office. Of course we need to attack the debt - but the arithmetic does not work with proposed Republican austerity. We need JOBS and demand.

No avalanche of words will convince voters that Republicans had nothing to do with the Recession that officially started in 2007, a YEAR before President Obama stepped foot in the White House.

Ditto with the snake oil about Republicans saving the day after the Great Depression and the New Deal having no impact. Here in my state we still experience the continued positive effects of the New Deal EVERY SINGLE DAY: Bridges, hydro electric damns, tourism, roads and even our international airport.

Starving the U.S. economy (a central piece in the GOP budget) “would quickly destroy millions of jobs while creating enormous economic and social upheaval” according to Macroeconomic Advisers, a St. Louis-based firm that has done work for the Federal Reserve.

I have relatives who lived through the Great Depression. No thanks.

TMFERETTI--

I know that you don't want to beleive me, so let me challenge you instead.

First, look up the HISTORICAL Unemployment figures from 1920 through 1944 from the DOL.
Second, Overlay those figures on a timeline and compare the implementation of the New deal with the employment numbers during the same time period.

Second, loo back to 1920 and compare the stock market levels from 1920 (the first crash) to those in 1929.. remember that deregulation and tax relieve was used in 1920 to end the effects of the first great crash.

Finally, Compare the PUBLIC sector level of employment between 1932 and 1937 with that of the public sector (this will show that the new deal propped up the economy but did not repair it). then compare those averagfes to the ratio between 1938 and 1944. what you will find is that the NEW DEAL, provided a great safety net, but fixed NOTHING, the economy only corrected with the private sector BOOM that was brought on by the ramp -up for WW2.. If you don't beleive me on this, there is an excellent thesis written on the NEW DEAL (Sorry I don't recall its exact title) that came out of UCLA a few years ago.. READ it.. IF you are objective, it will change your mind...

Gotta run.. its been fun.. alll you libs just remember... How can the government be the answer to our economic woes if they are the most expensive part of our economy but provide NO products goods or services with any intrinsic value.. (the value of a welfare check is 0 to everyone except the one who receives it - so it has no intrinsic value to the populationat large). The answer is simple, capitalism through the private sector that allows everyone the ability to achieve and succeed and in turn to be better off than those who came before them and allows their children to be better still. It is the method which for over 200 years made us the wealthiest and most advanced country in the world, and is the only thing that will get us back.. Or to put it simply -- the basic definition of wealth redistribution is - "All shortages shall be divided equally amoung the peasants".
