If Romney really needed the moderator to win anything - he already lost. This guy has a several million dollar team of handlers, he needs to bring SOMETHING to the table, Romney does not.

LOL...now why does the President who is ahead in every major 'credible poll' have to 'gain momentum'? He just has to maintain his support....and lead. And he did ALL of that last night. You would have to be a total naive fool...to not know and understand that.

Debates and statistics are meaningless, and what really counts are the qualifications of these two candidates. These qualifications should include ablity to lead the country properly and to solve its problems, be the president for ALL Americans, deal effectively in foreign policy, be firm, resolute, and decisive, create clear and concise policies and stick to them, and comply fully with our laws.

The disastrous economic and social conditions inherited by Obama were caused by the two previous Republican administrations, and resulted in millions of people lost their homes, their jobs and their assets.

Knowledgeable people, including President Clinton, have stated that the situation was so severe that neither any expresident nor anyone else, could solve the situation completely in 3 years. Obama has done very well to improve the situation, including ending the recession, but the long term effects of the Republican disaster continue to affect us.

Romney continues to flip-flop and change continously his "plans" to improve the economy, and to offer "ideas", most of which are unattainable, unclear and unsupported. His main goals are to continue supporting his main contributors, the wealthy and those that have been manipulating our financial system (Wall Street, banks, et al), and following his "warmonger" style by starting wars without first using diplomatic means and the support of our allies.

Romney supports actions that would eliminate the ability of women to decide about their lives, that would affect very negatively our senior citizens, and that would disavow 47% of our population. He is totally ignorant about foreign policy, and continuosly makes statements overseas that alienate our allies and embarrass our country.

Romney has a history of exporting jobs overseas through his "companies", and breaching our laws by hiding his fortune in secret foreign bank accounts to evade taxes.

It is obvious that Romney should not be our next president. Americans are intelligent and should not fall in the trap of electing such a lousy candidate. He would only bring more suffering and loss to the American people, would start wars, and would lead the country to a depression worse than the one in 1929.

The poll from CNN said Romney won on economy, taxes, deficit, health care, clear plan to solve problems, and strong leader. And he tied on voting intentions.

Solid performance.

However, I would like to see Mitt adapt his strategies.

Let's hear it for the women moderators! I am so SOOO tired of the "repackaging" of the facts by political candidates. Of course you can put a false spin on practically any policy proposal, but no one in journalism ever challenges people who say these things. Thank heaven it happened a few times in the last two debates so we could get a few correct facts before the public. I'm sick of hearing falsehoods and half-truths repeated over and over.

Romney's "record" as Massachusetts Governor,

One Billion in debt,

Entire fourth year spent "Developing his presidential campaign",

Did not run for second term because he was UNELECTABLE at that point -with a 39% approval rating.

Want to know the "real Romney"? Look at Romney's Massachusetts RECORD.
