Family Circle has had this contest for the presidential nominees wives for many years. Readers of their magazine love trying new recipes for their families. And what mom doesn’t have a favorite cookie recipe?
Haters, get a grip, realize that much of what you are angry about comes from false information fed to you and using your imagination to justify your outrage.

So, we see her feeding her face with cookies to rub salt into the wounds of the school children who she is making eat humus. What authority does she have to make anyone do anything? Being the spouse of a government employee (the Six Trillion Dollar Man) does not give you any such authority.

Oh horrors! The Wicked First Lady is ramming fruits and veggies down the throats of our schoolchildren and then taunting them by pigging out on cookies! Oh the humanity!

Every First Lady for at least the last 50 years has picked a program to support and promote. This First Lady happened to choose the fight against childhood obesity. And school lunches have come a long way from the days of the Reagan administration when ketchup and pickle relish were classified as vegetables in order to cut a billion dollars from the program.
