“I got Food Stamps and a abortion.” Life is good for you but I hope to do better than that. I’m voting for Romney.

For those that still dont get it here is what taxes and regulation do to businesses and individuals:

1) taxes is equivalent to the govt owning you and/or your business
2) regulation means govt tells you how to wipe yourself and run your business

Basically, it means loss of freedom. If the govt requires you to pay 25% in taxes then they own 25% of you. If they require business to pay 70% in taxes then the govt is the major share holder (hence, “you did not build that” attitude).

Here is how they affect the mom and pop businesses. I know cause I was one: I hired several cashiers and was successful enough that I could stay away and let the business “run” itself. As it became more expensive to run the business, ie taxation and regulation, I had to let two cashiers go and my wife and I had to do the work. Net result: two jobs lost, two more on unemployment for society to support, less time for me and my wife to spend whatever money we may have left. net result: slower economy.

Taxation and regulation slows and kills the economy. So does birth control, BTW. Less babies, smaller markets, smaller economy. You see, the leftist agenda is to kill American economic growth by making business evil and “they” have to pay their fair share. “They” cant pay enough to satisfy the left. You know this because the left can’t tell us what the fair share is.

So while mom and pop are being crushed, Obama’s corporate friends escape their “fair share” (ie G.E. et al). So while most of the posters here whine and think they understand government economics (trickle down government), their hero (Obama) screws them and puts them on welfare and burdens them with debt (ie student loans). This is not a happy path for America. It is indeed sad for many on this blog. You can read it in their posts.

Do not be fooled he will do what ever the far right wing and wealthy donors want.

And most of all he will make sure Abortion is Illegal in this Country through the Supreme Court.

He is no better than Governor Ultra Sound when it comes to Women’s rights.

The correct move is to vote the republican blockade out in 2012!

This will actually get more done for the country in the long run.

Sure, there are mom and pop success stories but that is not the whole picture.

You talk about big business and Repubs and then bring up GE! That’s a laugh. Obama has done just as much for big business as any other politician. GE pays no taxes!!! and Obama has done nothing to eliminate business benefits. He even extended the Bush Tax Credits. What was that about. Obama acts counter to EVERYTHING that has been said here. He just gives lip service.

This country was founded by the wealthy. Us poor people are lucky that those wealthy formed a country like this. The worse thing that can happen is for the masses to take over and change the basics. Obama wants to change the basics. Big mistake.

I agree, the government should stay out of EVERYONE’S business.

With regard to economics. I really think the enemy is automation. You cannot model a society based on a significant percentage of automation. Eventually, robots will build and repair themselves. Dont kid yourself. It doesn’t have to get that extreme for us to feel and experience the hurt. I think we may be at the beginning of the hurt.

It’s not the middle class who has bought and paid for the politicians, its big business and the wealthy, yet we support people like Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan who are nothing but salesmen for those who have corrupted the system

It’s time the middle class wakes up and sees where the corruption is coming from.
