LIBERALS_ALWAYS_LIE: "How could anyone vote for a person that had the power to prevent this but didn’t?" - - - And conservative lie the most. Anyway, you are WRONG. Yes, in a hypertechnical sense the President had the authority to this. However, you very conviently ignore the reality that having the power - i.e. using his authority - required very specific knowledge and awareness he did not have. Indeed, NOT PRESIDENT could or should have such specific knowldge that is many levels below their paygrade. Basically you are insisting that President Obama should have been micromanging management decisions normally made far below the Presdient's paygrade. NO PRESIDENT can or should be micromanaging those kinds of decisions. Insisting otherwise is childishly stupid and unrealistic and nothing more than irrational rabidly partisan hyperbole.

How could anyone vote for a person that had the power to prevent this but didn't? And then, President Obama attempts to distort the truth and hide his leadership failures for weeks by either claiming his administration was still sorting through the information when asked if it was a terrorist attack on The View (Sept 25th), and later that day referencing the "video" 6 times in his UN speech. Horrible leadership again from Obama.

How convenient and intellectually dishonest of you to cherry pick part of the President’s answer out of CONTEXT by not also explaining the FACT that the President was only paraphrasing Stewart's language when Stewart used the word “optimal” in his question. And how convenient of you to ignore the full context of his response by ignoring other parts of his comment when he talked about how terrible the tragedy was. The President was simply using a valid and effective technique of active listening by paraphrasing the language of the question he was asked. He talked about what happened for several minutes, yet the rabidly partisan hacks insist on focusing on one word taken out of context. You people are pathetic.

B-K, that sub was a Foxtrot But we actually picked up a November SSN and were supposed to follow-there had been no Soviet SSN in the Med up to that time. Most of the Soviet ships were at an anchorage near Crete-every few weeks we would go by-they never got underway.
Brought a lot of Lladros home from that deployment.

B-K, you did go to Palma with the Nimitz and the Battenberg Cup winner. it was pretty bad- a Nimitz sailor got drunk and fell asleep smoking in his hotel, causing a fire and dying. Another Nimitz sailor got run over near fleet landing and was killed. A third guy rented a scooter against orders and ran off a cliff north of Palma; I think they sent him to Wiesbaden. The Glover was an experimental FF that was supposed to do the NGFS duty but the main shaft cracked and they were stuck in some shipyard near Glyfada for months on end-I think that they started to break up the crew but they finally "got it up" in time to come back with us. The NGFS stuff was incredibly boring. The problem was that it was so damn shallow off of Beirut that we really had to be careful not to run aground. The weirdest thing about Beirut was seeing that damn ferris wheel still running while people were shooting at each other. They were running tours of Beirut; i actually went wandering about East Beirut by myself-of course in West Beirut we probably would get kidnapped. We actually pretended to be the Nimitz crossing the pond, but I think I gave us away During a MARS call to my parents. As usual we got an excellent on ORSE. Didn't you guys have a problem with your ORSE?

"The mother of an American diplomat killed during a terrorist raid on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi has hit out at Barack Obama for describing the attack as ‘not optimal’, saying: ‘My son is not very optimal – he is also very dead.’

During an interview shown on Comedy Central, Obama responded to a question about his administration’s confused communication after the assault by saying: ‘If four Americans get killed, it’s not optimal.’

Speaking exclusively to MailOnline today, Pat Smith, whose son Sean died in the raid, said: ‘It was a disrespectful thing to say and I don’t think it’s right.

‘How can you say somebody being killed is not very optimal? I don’t think the President has the right idea of the English language.’" --------odumbo and his clown crew couldn't care less!
