Converservatives like Walsh need to stop co-opting the term ‘pro life’ and call yourselves what you are: Pro birth. To be ‘pro life’ you respect the sanctity of life from conception to death. Thus, you would also be against capital punishment, war, gun ownership, and in favor of paying child support, supporint programs that helped singlemom’s and at risk babes. You aren’t, thus YOU AREN’T PRO-LIFE!!

The religious right is quite a scary bunch. Where were they when the lady in Texas glued the baby with Krazy Glue? Where were they when the mom in S. Carolina drove her babies into the lake? I’m not advocating these mom’s should have had abortions, but they needed help obviously, and so many of these pro-life people just spout off their mouth and have no intention of even volunteering to help women and children at risk. It’s not their job. Leave it to CPS. I even had one of my pro-life friends tell me if her own daughter got pregnant as a teen, she’d see to it she’d get “medical treatment” because she claimed her daughter was too emotionally fragile to carry a child. I just looked at her and shook my head. But that’s what we get from the far right. It’s okay for me and mine but everyone else be dammed.

Even though Joe Walsh refused to pay child support for his own child it doesn’t mean he isn’t pro-life, he’s just anti-entitlements. Is there a worse class of moochers in this country than children who believe their fathers have a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it. That that’s an entitlement and the big bad government is redistributing his hard earned wealth to some pathetic moocher kid. It’s socialism I say!

Science tells us that the child displays human attributes of personality and character – long before birth.

The child sleeps, it dreams, it wakes, it plays – sonograms even show children smiling in the womb.

These very human attributes fly in the face of contentions that the “fetus” is an unfeeling mass of tissue – rather than a person with an intrinsic self worth and value as an individual.

Those who are pro-life – recognize the mother and also believe in recognitions for the child.

Those who are not – don’t believe the child is a human being.

Walsh is an uneducated fool. These far right conservatives seem to lack very basic knowledge that the rest of us have, as well as the medical community’s fact based rebuttal.

Jenny, don’t get me wrong I am staunchly pro-choice. As a mom of three I understand the toll children take on limited income, etc.
But I am concerned that you think that there are lasting consequences on your health from having a baby.
Please get another doctors opinion, as your symptoms could indicate Lyme disease, poor nutrition, sleep deprivation or a host of different illnesses. A car accident or childbirth should not lower your immune system. Something else is going on.

I am a man and don’t believe in abortion.
But I also don’t believe I have the right to press my ‘belief’ on the people who will bear the burden of that decision.

Pro-lifers are the lowest of the low.
You want to legisltate your ‘opinion’ yet take NO RESPOnSIBILITY for that decision…forcing women to give birth and then its their responsibility for care/feeding/bringing up the child.

Can there be anything more un-American than that?

Again, an idiot who has no clue about a women’s body or medicine comes out to tell fairy tales. Do these guys ever understood anything in life. Why do Republican continually have to go back and apologize or retell a story or clarify or change their story. They know nothing and their ignorance keeps showing up time and time again.

This guy is just a loser without a clue, and he’s running to represent people when he can’t represent fact from fiction.
