I believe John is wrong. Billy Graham has always been a Democrat. Several years ago I read an article about Mr. Graham in which he was quoted as saying that although many people believe him to be a Republican because he associates with ALL of the presidents and prays with them and offers them spititual support, he is in fact a Democrat. And if you are a Christian truly dedicated to God’s purposes, I would imagine that you would probably want to spend a larger portion of your time with those whom you percieve as needing spiritual guidance the most. A true Christan leader wouldn’t consider a person’s politics as a condition of his spiritual support. Mr. Graham is in his 90s and in poor health. Considering that he is a long time Democrat, I don’t believe that he would support Mitt Romney’s political and moral positions if he really knew what they were. I think it is much more likely that his son, Franklin’s, positions are getting pushed upon his father in his weakend state, though I know nothing of Franklin’s politics.

Billy Graham warned Christitans for years of Baptizing the dead, An angel Moroni with Golden tablets, and that Jesus was eternally uncreated & one with God, not the created spirit brother of Lucifer that Mormonism teaches. He said their founder Joseph Smith was a False Prophet with deceived followers, now his head has spun around like in the Exorcist and he supports what he preached was a cult & occult practices (baptizing the dead).
What a sad ending for a once great man. Now he will be known as the man who turned into a hypocrite and shook hands in fellowship with who he warned us was following an eighteen century cultic false prophet. The very faith Romney says guides him. So which God will be listening to their prayers? The created Spirit brother of Lucifer that Mormonism teaches, or the Word that was in the beginning with God and is God?

The mainstream Christian Jesus seems to have just lost to Politics & his people have betrayed him because now they are adding credibility to a religion that they taught was false for years.

In every traditional mainstream Christian bookstore they warned for years of the teachings of Joseph Smith and his adding to their bibles a delusional angel moroni with golden tables & book of Mormon they say was a false prophets Sad that their main leader Graham supports a man who says he is guided by what they claim is among the end time false prophets..

2nd John 1:9-10 Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. for anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house or give him any greeting,
THe Christian bible does not endorse an Angel named Moroni with his golden tablets or book of Mormon, which Romney says guides his decisions.

Since childhood My mother always spoke so highly of Billy Graham.. I attended two highly respected Bible colleges before going on to pursue the career of my choice at a non religious University. I always thought that Rev Graham and myself were very much in line doctrinally until recent years. He and his organization are completely out of line with the teachings of Christ, the Disciples, apostles and Church FATHERS.

Very disappointed that Billy would help a Mormon become president. He always had my respect for NOT being involved in picking sides, but maybe he really is like all the rest. Shame!

Seems like there are a lot of people here who are judging Billy Graham. Well a tree is known by its fruit. Billy Graham has helped to spread God’s word around the globe with many responding by faith to Christs call thru Billy’s voice. He also prays for all different kinds of people (Romney, Obama, etc…). He also is doing a national repentence campaign. Where all people around the nation are to seek God, repent of sin, and fast (not necessary for salvation but a spiritual discipline that helps focus us on God). Also, if people rejected Jesus and despised Him, they will reject and despise His followers too. This rejection of Billy Graham evident on this thread leads me to conclude that he is a christian brother.

As for Romney, he is a morman, mormanism is a cult. Yet he still believes in capitalism, traditional family values, the constitution, limited government, and he is pro-life. However, Obama claims to be a christian, but he wears a ring stating: “the only god is Allah”. He also carries a Hindu monkey-god idol with him in his pocket everywhere he goes. He also is for murdering the innocent (abortion), sexual perversion (homosexuality), and stealing (wealth redistribution). By their fruit you shall know them…..And may both of them come to know the transforming love and grace of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!
