So Romney is using this disaster to benifit his campaign. Who would have guessed with all of the american lives that he destroyed by eliminating their jobs and scooping up their retirement money, that he would’nt pass up an opportunity to benefit by being a merchant of death.

The Republicans wont be happy until Americans who dont have jobs, and no unemployment, and no food stamps are starving in the streets homeless. They show no sympathy at all for people less fortunate than themselves. They say Romney will create more jobs and give everyone employment? How? What do they expect people to do who are still unemployed after Romney gets elected? If there is no unemployment and no food stamps how do they expect people to survive? They dont answer this question. Unless they are guaranteeing employment then what do they propose? What? Are these people suppose to starve and die in the streets homeless?

@Danny Harper – Your Mormon story is in “This partnership includes members of the Greek Orthodox and Latin Catholic churches as well.” and the story is about overseas. I’m in the here and now faze.
My response is Mr. Romney has politicized this disaster for HIS OWN GAIN and the question still is “Has Mitt called the LDS church to send money to the American Red Cross?” Has he gotten LDS members mobilized to blood drives? This is what the American Red Cross is requesting.
Mr. Romney will say and do anything for his own benefit only. Mr. Romney has been doing such, through his eight years of presidential campaigning, by stating he stepped in ran and made the Olympics in Utah with a profit. It is not a true Accounting Profit when he requested additional Federal Funds to GET THE JOB DONE.
People know when you say a story long enough and over and over enough your memory will turn out to be your reality. I want truth not babbling fables. Probably why I don’t adhere to Mormon doctrine, either.

You guys realize that the Red Cross doesn’t take donations of canned goods, right? They actually state clearly on their website that bringing in boxes of food is a hindrance to their relief efforts, not an aid. They ask for money, which Romney could have given but that wouldn’t have been a photo op, would it? In fact, reporters are now saying that the Romney campaign actually bought the donated goods themselves and stacked it up so they could take pictures. Oh yeah, and don’t forget that Romney is anti-FEMA. He said it’s immoral for the government to be in charge of disaster relief. And yet here he is coordinating disaster relief efforts? Some people call it a flip flop. I call it a hypocrite.
