Comments on: Romney Says He was ‘Completely Wrong’ About ’47 Percent’ Comments

Romney wasn’t wrong. Or rather he doesn’t really think he was wrong.

He said exactly what he meant to say at that event; to the fat cat doners, the CEO Romney-like clan, in the room, his target audience. He said what he thought they’d agree with and want to hear.

Just like everytime he’s in front of a particular target audience.

When he did that telemundo townhall, he says what he thinks they, latinos, want to hear, and gets a spray tan just before going on to look like them. A chameleon moment to be sure.

When he ran for govenor, chameleon Romney became super moderate.

When he ran in the rebublican primary, chameleon Romney proclaimed himself a “severely conservative conservative” appealing to his then target audience.

Now that he’s past the primary, his chameleon instincts tell him to back pedal on what he ran on in the primary, and move to the center where more undecided voters and people who don’t pay much attention to politics probably are.

The only wrong thing with the “47% victims” secretly recorded video, is that it got out. Outside the room, to the mainstream, to the whole of the USA, and what he really believes is out. Unfortunately, it’s not a belief that a lot of voters share so he now he’s had to do a lot of damage control. And thus, LIE, SPIN, disavow, change, flopflip, etc, . But he’s a pro at lying, so no harm done, He’s in his element.

Romney’s flip flopping is sooo insulting. How Americans aren’t incredibly insulted by this clearly, self serving turnaround by Romney is incredible to me. Sooo many resentful conservatives (not all are resentful) came out to support Romney’s 47% comments, including romney & Ryan themselves and now Romney comes out and changes his mind? Yes, that genuine, lol. OMG, IT’s one thing to be a business person who knows that firing people is part of business. It is. But that someone -one track business mind that Romney has combined with his 47% comments are scary. America, watch out. THese guys insulted your intelligence and then went back on their bus and laughed about it all the way home.– Gross.

Obama obviously was the inferior candidate. Now that he has to run on his record and worn out talking points, Romney is taking him to the cleaners.

On Sep. 17, Romney said, “It’s not elegantly stated. But let me put it this way… it’s a message which I’m going to carry and continue to carry.”

On Oct. 4, Romney said, “Now and then you’re going to say something that doesn’t come out right. In this case, I said something that’s just completely wrong.”

Figuring out which contradicting statement is the lie seems to be a re-occurring problem with Romney….

Does ANYONE actually believe that Mitt DIDN’T mean what he said to his donors in Boca Raton? He was so relaxed and at ease among his peers, and attacking “the moochers” is such a taken-for-granted truism among his class, that the statement itself rings a lot truer than Mitt’s new apology.

John: This is the top story today (and not Wednesday night’s debate) because IT’S FRIDAY! The debate was the top story yesterday, but now NEWER stories are the top news!

Romney “won” the Wednesday debate because he LIED about every subject he addressed. It’s easy to be glib and appear knowledgeable when you don’t have to worry about whether what you’re saying has any resemblance to truth or reality!

Mitt did say, “I said “something” that’s just completely wrong.”

There is an unequivocal difference between the two statements.

The statement, “I WAS” COMPLETELY WRONG., which Mitt DID NOT say, represents accountability.

The statement, “I said “something” that’s just completely wrong.”, which Mitt DID say, represents avoidance.

Duh.

This is ridiculous. He’s a grown man. Running for president for God’s sake and he’s lying. On numerous occasions. For the past year. Wtf? Americans should be disgusted with this type of behavior by now.

He said he was wrong right after he privately contacted all those donors that were in the room and told them, “Hey, I going to say I was wrong about the 47% thing but I don’t really believe it. I’m just saying anything it takes to get elected President and then, I promise you, my rich friends, I will get you those bigger tax cuts”
How can any of you intelligent Americans trust this guy? Don’t most of you realize that Mitt is not going to help you? Most of you aren’t rich enough for him to care. You think you are but unless you own multiple mansions, you are not. Most of you can’t afford his ACTUAL health care plan. Most of you are going to be once again screwed by the pharmaceutical companies and the insurance companies.
You better be able to move to the state of your choice when he turns over heath care plans to the individual states. Your doctors are going to migrate like a herd of buffalos to the most advantageous states.
