Speaking for myself, I was put off by the following

1. Romney saying there would not ba an "inch" of difference between America and Mr. Netanyahu's government. Really? So, now the US government is part of the Likud Party?

2. Romney repeatedly pandering to Netanyahu

3. Romney's refusal to even meet Shelly Yamicovich when he went to Israel (she is the leader of the Labor Party which is more sensible in many respects than the Likud).

Romney's pandering to the Likud Party did not help him. It put off many pro peace Americans, and 70% of American Jews voted for Obama because they could see Romney for the shallow person he truly is.

A lot of us consider the GOP to be whiney crybabies always bawling about the other side. They never admit their own shortcomings, and never concede the mistakes they are responsible for. Big example: Obama let us down in Bengazi, then, lied to us. But we forget...GWBush let us down on 9-11 then lied to get us into a War in Iraq (this country had NOTHING to do with 9-11, Hussein was dire enemies with Al-Quaeda, that WAS responsible). Please note, the degree of error is TOTALLY LOPSIDED. If you are a little upset about Bengazi, You SHOULD be irate and looking for Bush's head on a platter.

You can't put in the party platform that you are going to make abortion illegal while running a moderate. It's the political equivalent of opening up your veins & pouring salt inside. You opened yourself up to massive scrutiny to a guy who refused to stand up for your side.

Other than that, Mitt Romney was a general disaster area. His plan was so bad, even he didn't really know what it was. I don't think we'll ever find out.

It's not Mitt's fault that the republicans lost this election. He promoted the republican agenda just as the party wanted him too.

The republicans can reach out to Hispanics, Blacks, Women and Gays all they want but it will make little difference. Their problem is their adherence to the trickledown theory of economics.

How do you go and tell a hard working middle class American that their taxes are going to go up because you refuse to raise taxes 4% on millionaires who don't need it.

The republicans believe the ad by Thomas Peterffy, a Hungarian stockbroker where he says "when the rich get poorer the poor get poorer". What a crock of BS. That theory became obsolete when the first caveman hunter demanded his fair share of the mammoth carcass.

Prior to the election I held out some hope that we might be able to avoid the destruction of our economy. I know now that we will not avoid the inevitable. I doubt if there is anything that an individual can do to mitigate that disaster to their family. However, when it does come it will be like nothing we have seen in this country. The depression of the 30s will be mild. What you are now seeing in New York and New Jersey is nothing compared to the incomparable disaster awaiting us. There are consequences ,folks, to what you do and you brought this on yourselves.

DEANBOB....David Frum (yeah...he's VERY Republican) just produced a book on this very topic. And he emphasized this point , not once but twice, this morning on Morning Joe. He places the blame FIRMLY on the 'conservative media complex'. Meaning who? Rush, Beck, Coulter, Faux Noise, talk radio in general etc. And you know why? Because he said that they all 'constantly lie' to their base...just for their own financial gain. And I don't think you will believe me...so go buy the book. Frum is truly one of 'yours'.

I see the river Denial is flowing freely. We keep telling you guys what went wrong and you’re determined to dig in. You can be right and keep losing, or you can acknowledge you got a shellacking and ask what you need to do to change things. First I’d recommend you turn off Fox, and tamper the hate. It’s rare I can have a real discussion with a con anymore. It’s like a lost art.

The reason we lost is that "Obama" got 2 million more votes than Romney, but failed to win a single state where Voter ID is the law! Now, I wait to see how you'll twist my statement. And what TV station would you have us watch instead of Fox? Will that station tell us ANYTHING about what happened in Benghazi? Will they edit video like NBC? Will they sit on an interview that exposed Obama's real position about what he called the attack in Benghazi like CBS?

obama’s hard stance on increasing taxes on the wealthy and refusal to reform SS and Medicare are equally intransigent. Saying that the Republicans are the ONLY stumbling block to resolving this issue is BUNK and partisan progaganda.

Let the Obama tax rates expire. The Obama tax rates will increase the most for the middle class while cutting spending. Then they'll have an opportunity to experience that the Dems want for those earning more than $250K.
