newcountryman….LOl…’conspiracy theory’….I believe that what I talking about was ‘hard ball political strategy’ that I have seen the GOP employ more than once. It’s called ‘demonization of the opposition’ to distract from what you yourself do. Another term is called ‘inversion’. And yes the GOP practices that too. As well as ‘defunding’ of government agencies and programs THEN demonizing the government for inefficiencies and being ‘too big’. Bet you didn’t know tha tI knew all that. I’m sick and tired of the way these ‘angry old white men’ operate and will ‘call them out’…any chance I get.

Don’t give in Mr. President, this is just a diversion by the GOP, and the praise they are giving to Sen. Kerry, while deserved, are really a way to get a special election out in Massachusetts.

Good for you GEO….you are the only one on this article that gets it. This is nothing more than naked political gamesmanship to try and get Scott Brown into the Senate. But there is a ‘side benefit’ here on all this GOP BS. As long as the focus is on Susan Rice….Petraeus is being ‘protected by deflection and distraction’. He is the one who should be being ‘grillled’ and answering the tough questions. And YES…the oversight committee could subpoena him back….anytime they wanted to. I’ll repeat…this is nothing more than naked political gamesmanship AND distraction. And of course the GOP’s ‘base lemmings’…have no clue.

You would think ABC would report that Susan Rice holds TransCanada stock. TransCanada isn’t the only Canadian energy company in Rice’s portfolio. She also has investments in pipeline firm Enbridge, utility TransAlta and oil and natural gas companies Encana, Suncor and Cenovus. Sounds like conflict of interest.

Rice has done an excellent job at taking the Benghazi heat off oBama and Hillary where it rightfully should be. But all our little perfumed press poodles are off chasing shiny objects like the implied racism in ANYONE daring to criticize Rice instead of questioning oBama and Hillary about the endless list of inconsistencies in their ongoing stories.
