This is a horrible strategy from a game-theoretic perspective. As important as bipartisanship is, issues always come first. If there is not a single branch of government that advocates your issues, you won't have bipartisanship---you will just have lost.

I used to be a Democratic Senatorial District Delegate and this trickle up poverty isn't what I signed on for. Obama is no Clinton. What Bill Clinton had Barack Obama couldn't even borrow to get. Clinton had true bi-partisanship; Obama couldn't bribe a vote from legislators, even in the Democratic Senate! We don't need another 4 years of this. We don't need a do-over president; we need a do-er. The bottom line is, who can make America make more money. Obama couldn't make a profit in a lemonade stand; he'd give away all the product and earnings and have too much overhead. I want a real businessman to turn our suffering economy into a surplus economy. I want someone who has proven success, and can demonstrate it in his own life. I want the same opportunities for my kids that my folks had for me, I want my kid to be able to find work when he graduates in four years. That's not going to happen under Obama. Just look at his record. Are college graduates able to find work? No. Obama's gotta go.
Elect Romney!

: I'm not a fan of Clinton because I believe he disgraced the office of the Prsident. As for Hillary-I believed she looked the other way for her own benifit. Obama is a disappointment after all the hype four years ago. Four years of obvious dislike of white citizens, preference toward black citizens. How could he expect to get bipartison cooperation when hetreats races differently? Four years of arrogance nd reckless spending ad privileges just for his family. He doesn't care about anything except his big ego.

Romney vetoed 800 bills from Democrats when acting governor of Massachusetts. Even Republicans there said Romney was a pain to get to, he put a velvet rope across his office door and had fake secret service people run interference for him. Romney only called Republican officials during the disaster, not one Democrat. Romney gives lip service to bipartisanship, like everything else, yet has a dismal record for reaching across the isle. Romney just says anything people want to hear and has no integrity on anything. Vote Romney at your peril !

I think Hillary ex aide sums up this election best. Mitt Romney has been making a pitch for bipartisanship in the closing days of the race, and this morning rolled out an endorsement from Hillary Clinton's former Senate state director, Gigi Georges: “For most of my life, I’ve been an active Democrat. I am proud to have worked for President Bill Clinton and then-Senator Hillary Clinton, and, during that time, I saw firsthand what can be accomplished by strong, bipartisan leadership. I know what it means to work across the aisle on issues that are important to the American people. And that’s why I am supporting Mitt Romney. Governor Romney has a plan to restore the prosperity this country deserves and expects. He will work with people of good will no matter what their party, and he will pursue the policies that are in the best interest of our country, no matter who proposes them. That’s what President Obama promised to do four years ago. But like so many of his promises, bipartisan cooperation is just another one he has broken. We can’t have four more years of failed policies and two parties that can’t work together. We need the change Mitt Romney is offering.” She along with the majority of Americans can see how far the democrat party has detoriated with their left wing radicalism and Reid proclaiming already he would not work with Romney. It is time to get rid of ignorant people like Reid and Obama who do not want to represent all Americans instead of a few with their agenda.
