Im think there are more Kennedys in that family than there are Starbucks. Well, maybe not. I checked and Starbucks tops out at 17,000, but it is a close race. Go to Wikipedia and look at kennedy_family.

I don’t think you have to be rich to run for office but you certainly have to be backed by the rich which is just as bad or even worse. Once in office your are rewarded for your vote and then become rich.

I don’t think we’re being told that at all. What we are led to understand down to the bones is you have to be rich to have the resources to make a run for high political office. National politics is almost exclusively the domain of the wealthy.

It must be left to those who are smarter than 99.9% of the people, someone like Hank Johnson (D) GA, who thinks that the island of Guam could capsize if enough people set foot on it.

That kind of expertise can’t just be found anywhere.

If it weren’t for politics, the Kennedy’s would be out curing cancer or something.

I’m not sure why Massachusetts even has elections? Why don’t you just declare that if a kennedy wants the job they have it sans an election. You are only legitimizing what is reality today. It is a shame that the people of that state have prostituted their right of representation to a dynasty.
