Unlike the Palestinian Authority which prohibits any Jew from buying property in their areas, Israeli law allows anyone to buy property anywhere, including the E1 region (what Carney refers to as "East Jerusalem"). Building houses, and schools, and clinics, and utilities, does not prevent peace. First of all, Speaker Boehner has no obligation to put the Senate bill up for a vote. All appropriation bills have to originate in the House; therefore, that bill is invalid. Also, it didn't even really "pass" the United States Senate. It got rammed-through by budget-reconcilliation, with 50+1 to 50 of the votes in the United States Senate. It was such a bad bill, the only bipartisanship it got was bipartisan opposition. Secondly, Speaker Boehner should put up Secretary Geithner's bill for a vote. Let's just see how many votes it gets, Democrat and Republican combined. One, sixteen trillion dollars in tax hikes. Two, fifty billion dollars in additional stimulus spending. Three, further cuts to MediCare. Let's just see how far out Barack Hussein's proposal is in relation to Democrats in the House of Representatives. Thirdly, Speaker Boehner should put up for a vote in the United States House of Representatives a tax bill that is exactly what Barack Hussein is calling for: middle class tax reductions. And nothing else. Allow the spending cuts to come to pass. Allow the deductions to end. And call it something creative, like the "Maintain Bush Tax Cuts for Middle Class Americans So They Do Not Increase To Clinton Tax Rates Act." Let's see the Democratic Senate vote down that bad boy and Barack Hussein veto it, PUMA!
