Who is paying for Messina and the campaign members to carry our Obama’s plan to pass phony
gun legislation. If it comes from tax dollars, every one of our members of congress must react and stop this immediately. Why does it appear that the battle in Washington is Obama versus everyone who disagrees with him. We have heard the pros and cons on gun control and cannot
see where all the additional legislation will prevent the guns getting into the hands of people who
would misuse them and kill people. People who commit crimes with guns, have those guns that
are purchased or stolen and are not registered or traceable. Many of these guns were purchased where no registration was required. These guns are already available to anyone who wants to
use them for a variety of unlawful purposes. Wouldn’t it be wiser to seek help for those who would resort to crime because they have mental problems. If we had a healthy employment
environment, maybe break-ins and theft could be abolished. Our country has created the conditions for what we see happening today. Jobs were eliminated in the name of bigger profits
and the cost of being in business resulted in reduction in employment. Prices have increased at
unprecedented levels and the many people can no longer afford even the necessities. If our
government would stop trying to change the results of our failing economy and concentrate on the causes, we just might have a chance. And while the government works on that, they also need to stop policing the rest of the world, trying to solve the worlds problems. The rest of the
world must take on its own responsibility and quit taking our handouts.

If you ask me, we need to totally protect our 2nd amendment rights, otherwise we will all be crushed by a teeranical fedral guvmint (but most state, county, and city guvmints as well as neighborhood block watches are okay in my book). And if’n a few incent people are maimed and/or killed along the way as a result (okay, maybe more than just a few, but heck, we lost count a long time ago), well that’s jus’ the price we must pay for Freedom™ (or at least represents a sizeable down payment). And as every God™ fearin’, red, white, and blue blooded true Murcan™ knows, Freedom™ ain’t never been free no how anyways! I mean, jus’ take a look at Britain, Australia, and Canada; they all have strict gun control laws and as a result those countries are all now ruled by brutal military dictatorships…err…um…what I really want to say here is…“Live Free or Die”™. The Mythology of the “Right” or “conservative” movement is being unviled thank goodness by the Obama Campaign and moreso by the Internet. For years the “rights” method has been to shout the loudest givng the impression of many voices and many people but like the great and powerful Oz organizations like the NRA are being exposed for what they are; shivering old hacks behind a curtain of deception. I knew there was a reason I voted for Barack Obama in 2008/12 and he’s continuing to deliver.

Obama wants to confiscate our guns and then ship them to Mexico for ‘Fast and Furious’ 2.0 speaking of Mexico, unless a person is well connected with the corrupt local police, guns are illegal to own. So its amazing how over 35,000 people have died from gun violence there over the last 5 years!

What frightens me is that the winner of this conflict appears to be whoever can rally the most people. What about the constitution. Will the vocal majority trample it under? In rural areas like where I live the nearest police to the schools are 30 to 60 minutes away. Since there are more people in the cities where still the police arrive after an event is over, then we in the rural areas must also pay the price of the civilian population being criminalized by Obama. But the civilian population is all that can defend these kids and the rest of us in rural areas. I for one want the best tools available to do just that. I am proud of the rural sheriffs that are refusing to abide by any new “laws” that are not constitutional. Perhaps they are saving my children’s lives.

Okay, for the last time, the AR-15 is NOT an “assault weapon” or “military style weapon”. The AR-15 is the CIVILIAN version of the M-16. “Assault weapons” are capable of fully automatic or three round burst fire. The AR-15 is not. Just because some in the media are easily influenced without needing to research their facts doesn’t mean that the majority of the public should be as gullible. Diane Feinstein isn’t an authority on weapons. She has freely admitted to simply looking at pictures with her staff to decide which weapons fit the “assault weapon” profile.

To suggest we should do nothing just because any new legislation might not completely cure the problem is just stupid talk from stupid people with not much going on above their shoulders .

Liberals thought that plastiering “Gun Free Zone” signs all over public buildings was a great idea. It turns out they only empowered criminals like Adam Lanza to kill with impunity because they knew nobody would stop them. “Gun Free Zone” signs were and continue to be a stupid idea that had no positive effect, as Sandy Hook and various mall shootings clearly demonstrate.

Introducting regulations for the sake of regulations that do not address the root issue of a problem while simultaneously attacking constituional rights of law-abiding citizens when we have so many other pressing issues (like our faltering economy) is the very definition of stupid.

Obama has no problems with semi-automatic weapons. He and Holder purposely put semi-automatic weapons into the hands of Mexican drug cartels and those weapons ended up being used to kill Mexican and American citizens. If an American citizen had done that kind of gun running, they would be in federal prison. So why isn’t Holder?
