Right, there are HUGE benefits.

First, transportation gets more costly.. raising the prices of food and all other consumer goods. This makes the poor much more poor and reliant on government.

Second, electricity and energy get more costly, raising the prices on everything higher and increasing the cost of living… this makes even MORE poor people AND damages industry and business causing a loss of jobs. Even MORE reliance on Government.

Then we reduce reliability of electricity by shutting down existing power plants as demand is increasing. Not just higher prices, but reduced reliability accelerates the damage done.

Look at all the benefits… fewer jobs, more poor people, more damage and costs to poor people… the list of benefits goes on and on.

Oh, you don’t think those are benefits? You’re not looking at it correctly. If the goal is more power for the government, more people reliant on government is a benefit not a problem. Forcibly raising the costs of all goods, transportation and energy will certainly get us there.

The United States will be energy independent not due to sunny panels and windy mills, but because of the huge reserves of oil and natural gas that lie under our feet. Allow the commie libs all of their illusions about renewable energy, the die is cast, and there is nothing Obama and his marxist minions can do about it!

Just a guess here. Obama will cause “energy prices to necessarily sky-rocket”.

You can thank Democrats for the never-ending Obama Depression, high unemployment and underemployment (14% U6 rate) and high energy prices.
You can thank the mainstream media for being a propaganda arm of the Democratic Party.

@THE INCONVENIENT TRUTH – So now it’s Obama’s 16.5 trillion dollar debt? The problem is on Capital Hill – They can’t agree on where to cut the spending. I can see the Democrat’s point-of-view. We have to cut Medicare before eliminating government pork earmarks…Huh? We need to reform Social Security before we eliminate hand outs to foreign countries and Corporate Tax loopholes…Because? We need to spend three times more on Defense than the next largest country….Why? Republicans are loosing the debate on spending cuts – probably why they didn’t want to have a debate in the first place.

Gasoline and the petroleum from which we refine it. Gas and oil are COMMODITIES that are sold on the world market to the highest payer. Last year demand for gasoline was so high we even exported gasoline overseas from our refineries. Supply and demand controls the price of both, not some Democratic conspiracy. The only immoral con artists here are the conservatives telling lies.

“What Will Obama Do to Tackle Climate Change?” If history is any indication, H will borrow more debt and devalue our our money more to give more of it to “green” companies so that they can fold-up and move more jobs outside of the US. His previous plan that did that was very successful and the US tax payers lost tens of billions to so. It’s wealth redistribution. Take our money and jobs and give them to other nations! Thanks for nothing BHO! You suck and promise more of it!
