No, the analogy would be you dealing directly with the exploited minor and circumventing the exploitative mine owner (the Catholic institute).

For women, not getting pregnant and reproductive health are major health issues. We support it being covered as a key component in health insurance plans. And we’re tired of hearing you men whine about it.

Then buying ‘blood diamonds’ should be prefectly fine. YOU didn’t enslave some poor African to dig up the diamond so that the slaver could fund his genocidal war. The transaction is between you and the jewler, so there’s no connection between you and the human rights violations that your money eventually supports.

Show me where in the Bill of Rights you have the right to free contraceptives. Freedom of religion is pretty well spelled out in the First Amendment, but I can’t find contraceptives in there anywhere, let alone the right to free contraceptives. You have the right to bear arms, but you don’t have the right to free arms to bear. If your employer doesn’t give you the benefits you want, go find a new job like every other disgruntled employee does.

There’s probably a drug store within a mile of where you’re sitting. You want a condom? Go buy a condom. Nobody’s standing in the way of you buying all the condoms you want.

The rest of us have been buying our own contraceptives for as long as we can remember.

The fact that YOU view sex as some kind of government-mandated indoor sport doesn’t mean that the rest of us have to foot the bill for your protective gear.

Amazing, too, that contraception is considered a woman’s issue. It’s been a long time (2000+ years according to the church) since a woman got pregnant without the participation of a male . . .
