Re INOGAGOAL’s comment – “The Social Security Administration is doing away with sending out checks, you must receive your benefits by direct deposit into a bank accout. To get a bank account you must have ID.The corollary must be Democrats think the SS Administration is racist.” Exactly! I was over at my bank recently, waiting in line to make a deposit. Ahead of me, there was a black guy. Not young, but older. When he got up to the teller, she asked him for an id. He couldn’t produce an id, and then he launched into a wild tirade and started yelling “racist.” They called for a security officer. Why are “you people” so fixated on having a persecution complex? Just because you are black doesn’t excuse you from following rules. Ids must be mandatory, not only for doing business at a bank, but also when you go to vote. Ids are supposed to help ensure the integrity of the voting process. The id requirement must be strictly enforced. There should be no extra voting days, and no voting on Sundays for blacks who attend church and then go to the polls. Everyone should have one vote only on one day only. Election Day. Inconveniences and long waits are to be expected, so people need to plan ahead. Every single voter needs to be carefully watched. They need to devise a better system for ensuring that no one gets multiple votes. All dead people need to be removed from the voter rolls. And illegals must be blocked from voting. The Voting Rights Act is the worst thing because it just perpetuates fraud and cheating. Also it is highly inappropriate for Obama to be exerting pressure on the Court or brokering backdoor deals with blackmail and threats to influence the final ruling, like he did with Chief Justice Roberts on Obamascam. Judges/Justices always are supposed to rule impartially, and they are supposed to be free of outside influence.

Apparently the socialist liberals currently in power will stop at nothing to maintain their position. We have reelected a brown president now and have a diverse group of elected officials. Time to level the playing field across the board.

Preferential treatment for past behavior is no way to correct the behavior. This is especially the case in racial matters such as this. If anything preferred handling will only reenforce the situation.

But the United States has got much longer to last regardless. With the economy collapsing and the entitlement class growing, violence is likely the only solution that will reset conditions.

1) Why are they only changing the law in “states, mostly in the south”
2) Who does this action benefit?

Persecution of the southern states, is wrong, and should be stopped. It has been going on for 200 years.

The ID laws many of these states are trying to pass often limit the TYPE of ID that would be valid for voting purposes and making them hard for the majority of those who need them to get. It is the inner-city minority, elderly who are most disenfranchised by these archaic laws. Yet Scalia calls voting an “entitlement”.
