I am far more concerned about the Bankers on Wall St and their terrorist attacks on the Global Economy than I am about the CIA’s money laundering bank. The CIA will simply find another bank to assume the role of HSBC, which assumed the role of BCCI when THAT money laundering bank was shut down.

HSBC should be at the back of the line for prosecutions. I want to see some arrests at AIG, Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, etc. before arrests at HSBC.

But I guess even Elizabeth Warren can read the political handwriting on the Wall (St).

CLINTONCRAT FOR PALIN – no there was no trial, they were caught red handed, admitted their wrong doing, and were fined. Your comment makes you sound stupid. Elizabeth Warren is not convicting them, she wants them arrested for what they admitted to!!!!! Once they are convicted in court, then we can put them in jail and throw away the key. These are the people that helped cause the financial collapse, or do you just like to complain when it’s something about the president and everyone else can have a free for all??????

Not one person ever went to jail and they had help from Nazi Germany and Fascist Bentio Mussolini. I have an idea…. lets just not pay hsbc any money back. Screw their shiesty credit card scams, screw their sub prime lending practices, screw their outrageous interest rates… screw all of them… until HSBC is held responsible on a criminal level where actual bodies go to the joint for making the decision to launder money for Cartel killing machines, we aren’t going to pay them a fricken dime back… furthermore, bar them from being able to blemish peoples credit over it. Otherwise, our justice system is a complete farce.

Not one knowledgeable post on this subject. Not one. Because if there had been, somone would have mentioned what the demise of Glass Steagall – that allowed commercial banking in this country to engage in high risk taking venture banking to occur – affected this whole mess. It is definitely about – money and power – something that the GOP constantly trys to stay on the side of. And 90% of middle class people….have no clue on this subject. Elizabeth Warren….is on our side….and most of you have absolutely NO CLUE about that. Read “Too Big to Fail” or “House of Cards”….and educate yourselves. Most prisons now are run by corps, research the privatized prison system and modern day slavery, the fact is as long as pandering politicians influence the minds of uneducated americans it is easy to get them to point the finger and blame at whom ever they deem fit. Unfortunately its black americans that get the blunt of the exploitation. The guys you want to lock up that run many banks also own a large portion of stocks in the very judicial system you wish to incarcerate them, not happening. We are so far down the rabbit hole that its almost going to take an act of the heavens to get us out. Keep being divisive though and see where that lands us, dems vs repubs black vs white vs asian vs latino vs native americans, etc, while they look at it as us vs them. Look in this blog over time and it is clear. You read from posters comments that they are defending positions which are inherently against their interest.
Why would someone do that if it was not hitting some other primal feeling which calls for a primal defense blocking all reason from the discussion. Until WE THE PEOPLE are a united front nothing will happen. When the big money forces move they gin up those who are willing and eager to be the pawns in this chess game of power and CONTROL. This is NOT just an American thing…it is a world wide thing. About 3 months ago an Italian reporter was jailed for publishing a list of 2000 Greek citizens who were hiding their wealth in a particular foreign bank. This reporter’s report listed these citizens and then stated that this is a list from just ONE bank. No wonder why Greece is in trouble – not minimizing their retirement structure – if, like here in the USA, their wealthy are avoiding paying their fair share of taxes.
