Religion once again tearing people apart instead of bringing them together. You are gay which means you are bad, you are straight which means you are good with God. Categories that make you feel comfortable and you wanting the world to be a reflection of your beliefs is not God like. God is acceptance, love, trust, no categories, judging or branding people as right or wrong. Please don’t separate people by categorizing, if you are in a religion that separates you from the world maybe you should change to a spirituality that embraces and accepts people. If you are against something then you personally should not take part in it but not brand and crucify people who don’t follow the same beliefs as you. If you do, you are ignorant and have a long path to any type of true spirituality and I hope that you are able to find that peace in your heart someday. The peace that makes you one with everything and everybody not apart from them.

GARY RICE _ last I looked, Homosexuality is GOD created since there is no CHOICE. It is not the same as adultery or Divorce. This is a CIVIL matter, not a religious one. If your religion forbids it, then you do not allow same sex marriages in your church, temple, etc. HOWEVER, you do not have the right to deny them the right to be married by a mayor, ,judge, etc. It is just this sort of religious bigotry that is causing so many problems.

Marriages should be performed only by religious or other organizations. The government should not be in the marriage business.

Everyone should be allowed to be in one civil union – with anyone else. That will allow for inheritence and medical decissions. That other person could be a family member or whoever one chooses.
