The wife of Vice President Joe Biden, who was seated in First Lady Michelle Obama's box at Tuesday night's State of the Union address, attracted attention because of what she was wearing on her arm.

"Unfortunately, Dr. Biden slipped and fell last week, breaking her left wrist," a spokesperson for Dr. Biden told ABC News. "She expects to be wearing a cast for about six weeks."

But it was no ordinary cast: This one is camo.

Dr. Biden's office explained how she picked it out in a follow-up statement to ABC: "She's a military mom and grandmother. She picked it because of her grandkids - they love it."
