Ailing Industries Go Online, Get Results

News networks are shifting resources to online video projects and the results are promising, reports Daisy Whitney in this week’s episode of the “New Media Minute.”

ABC News offers a 15-minute bonus version of its evening newscast online and views are up five times over a year earlier. Other networks are reaching for new viewers online, too.

CBS News recently launched a 15-minute weekly webcast hosted by Bob Schieffer called “Washington Unplugged.”

On “New Media Minute,” you’ll also learn about Harper Collins’ first video book — for Jeff Jarvis’ “What Would Google Do.”
